Holy crap, you've been productive! That is one impressive army! I have trouble staying motivated to paint that much; I end up getting either bored or constantly too tired or distracted. How do you do it?

I bet there is about 12 pots of black squiggle paint there.

Great army shot mate, I've been trying my hardest to catch up on Dakka recently, but when I saw this I HAD to comment. Well done on your most recent Push, especially all the Power Armoured guys - they are all looking crisp!

@Zerg - I have been consistent over the 6 years I've been painting these guys, I broke up the boredom by doing some commission models and painting a number of other armies in the mean time (Repainting Dark Angels and Ultramarines, Necron Army, Tau army and some demons)

@Gits - Thanks man, I believe I'm over half way now, so its 'downhill' from here, as they say

@Dysartes - Yes, looking at them all on the table does give a wide range of squiggles, I feel like my early squiggles were a lot more random and made some of the earlier models quite busy.

@Cam - 12 pots! Hah, I estimate 18

@DJSC - Welcome back? I got the titan over a year ago and had planned to do it for the big 200 page reveal however, once I got started cleaning and prepping I just kept going with painting it.

I've got the same problem with some of my photos. They look fine on my PC and even in previews on WP, but then when they publish they seem lighter/a bit washed out.

Regardless, these guys look very cool. The hoods add something quite different to them. Are they just regular Paladins, or something else?

If they're still all laid out like that, could we get some close-ups of the various squads and groups and aspects of the army while they're all out there en masse? About 15-20 photos should do. (I'm not joking!)

Update: So again no pictures, I moved house over the weekend (Queens birthday weekend so 3 days) and everything is a cr@p shoot in terms of modelling time. Gone is a space for the gaming table, which makes me sad, however custom ordering a large dining room table, about 6' by 4' i'd say

Hope the house moving went well, and there isn't too many unopened boxes lying around...

@Mad - Moving house has gone well, still need to find a place for the gaming table, but have ordered a large dining room table to fit the bill.

Update: So got a lot done this weekend, lots of mold lining completed

Update: While slow assembly continues, I'll do a quick paint on a apothecary for the Dark Angel force as the one I had has gone walk abouts

, that's one hell of an army Knightley, congrats! Terminators are lookin' real nice, solid kitbashing with the deathwing. The apothecary looks to be a fun project as well, nice to see some DA action in between waves of GK.

Update: base colours done, I have to remember its a quick model, not going to lavish anything on him.

Update: Black army painter wash/varnish and matt coat applied, bit of grass on the base and this one is done.

Update: So at Christmas I was given a secret santa gift of a Heroforge mini which represents myself (and my airsoft gear) so wash, prime, black and base colours then the face is done (quick model to paint imo)

You need very thin dark lines between the fingers, it'll help give the hands definition which they're lacking. Make a fist yourself and you'll see what I mean. I like it though. Nice work.

Looking sweet Knightley, though I'd also add a dilute purple wash to the face, as it makes it look more realistic (if that's what you're going for). It looks like a fun model to paint, probably a nice change of pace from Power Armour.

Nice model. You weren't tempted to clip off the head and stick it on the Primaris Captain?

@Gits - Good point well raised, will see if I can manage that!

@WarbossDakka - I may not do that at this point, adding purple at the last stage would mean a complete reset of painting the face and I am happy with how it looks at this stage

@Azazelx - Not really, this model is bloody tiny compared to the marine heads, he would look very captain america prior to the super serum, but in reverse (small head, big body)

Update: More details added, I'll see what I can do about adding a darkness to the fist as well care of Gits

He's coming along really nicely. The added details really improve the figure. Shame about the head size, though, I wonder if there's a place that can do Marine-sized heads? I could build myself leading my various armies. Perhaps with different haircuts.
