I was born in Miami, Fl. My father escaped from Cuba when he was 9 years old, in 1959. My mother is Irish American. I work in construction doing metal framing and drywall. My brother and I realized that playing cards represent countries and we were playing with the French cards, so we created a deck for these United States. I am grateful to be born in these United States and I will attempt to do my Duty as an American, to preserve Liberty for my children and yours, and for our future grandchildren(God willing).
I thought just as you did, I even laughed, but to be totally fair, its not his fault.  Or at least one would hope not. It's others that have influenced him, and raised him. Or maybe not raised. Felt bad about laughing at him.....most construction workers are hard working people.

And a faith suit... given that the USA was founded as a country of religious freedom to believe whatever you want (or to not believe whatever you want)... not a country where "there is one god, creator of life and liberty" as the kickstarter creator seems to think... Also, only shipping within the USA - what about all the brave Americans who are occupying other countries teaching them the values of freedom? Can't they order some Americards?

The Official American Standard Playing Cards has taken the liberty of naming a pair of cards. The ten, deuce(10,2) is known as the Doyle Brunson. With no disrespect to Mr Brunson, it is now called the "DONT TREAD ON ME". This will ultimately be decided by the People, we'll see if it sticks. Maybe Mr Brunson would like to put his name on it (the Doyle Brunson DONT TREAD ON ME).
The good thing about it at least is it is sort of educational... a bit... if you read them all. Come up with a game and name it, it might stick. Instead of saying "go fish" we say "Catch a Liberty". What will "black jack" be called? What's a jack? It does not sound American to me.
