This was the first WD worth buying in like 4 years. They also are giving $20 in bitz for getting a subscription. Maybe GW has finally figure out what sells a WD.

I hope some people really build some of those god-specific medium 'titans' like the banelord, subjugator, etc. Besides the plague tower, I know of at least 2 people locally who have those in the process. Wouldn't mind scheming me up a silver tower for D fun ...
Good call Reds.

Don't the current inks 'go straight over white, metallic and colour coats, allowing you to quickly and consistently create areas of shading, creating a professional finish with a minimum of effort'?

Does anyone know whether they've added a surface-tension changing agent (like the Future floor polish that so many folks use) to the new washes? That alone would make me happy to see them. Tub rings on your minis suck.

I wonder how that'll work, seeing as there are only bitz packs now...

Khorne's getting alot of love. Why are the super heavy vehicles (not the walkers) able to make close combat attacks?

Rbb- Uh, because they have a Weapon Skill, not to mention huge, rippy weapons?
That Banelord looks awesome, and well worth the crazed results. The Plague Tower looks characterful but not likely to survive.
The Conclave is mind-blowing, though. 4 mobile Disruptor Beacons and an orbital bombardment, all for 200 points? Wow. these guys make the Seer Council look like amateurs. Great way to encourage Chaos players to use their characterful force choices.
The Khorne mortar thingy is the only obvious stinker, although the 1K Sons Coven doesn't look that great. And I have to say that i like the BoLS version of the Silver Tower better than this one.

I'm actually pretty surprised that they showed a picture of the Lord of Battles. It was almost at Blood Slaugherer-levels of crappiness.
Still, its really awesome to see all of these old Epic units given official 40K stats. I hope they do Knights soon.

In related news Emperor's Children Terminators still aren't Fearless, there's still no reason to swap your heavy bolter sponsons for sonic blasters, and GW still haven't learned to proofread:
To fire the pus cannon place the Hellstorm template so that the narrow end is within 18" of the weapon and the narrow end is no closer to the weapon than the narrow end.
Well, that shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish.

about the template, they said that so people can't choke up on the template so that its shorter.

Dude, they said "narrow end" twice. Re-read it.

The Doom Blaster and Plague Tower are super heavy tanks with no close combat weapons listed. Do they assault like super heavy walkers? Do they ignore armour saves? Super heavy tanks don't have assault rules, only super heavy walkers.
