Fateweaver wrote:GW seems to mimic DoW quite a bit. Maybe that beasty will have the ability to drag models into CC like the Lictor does in DoW2. Bloodslaughterer has a similar ability.

You mean, like the Lictor had in 2nd edition that was used in Dawn of War II. Next, you'll say that GW ripped off Blizzard.

Since when did I accuse GW of ripping of THQ? It is their (GW's IP) so how can they be ripping off their own IP?

I forgot about the ability in 2nd edition. Guess I misplaced the codex in the 14 years that I've had it.

Wow, calm down and chill. I was just making a statement as to what GW COULD do based on what we've seen.

"Toxathrope" is just embarassing. It sounds like a monster from some 90s cartoon like Teenage Turtles or Captain Planet.

The sad thing is there's now a pokemon called toxicroak. Oh dear. GW has now resorted to stealing pokemon names...

I don't know if its where they got the name, but "Toxa" is necortizing poison produced by fungas that kills the protein structure in types of vegitation.

I doubt GW would have really put that much effort into the names of the new nids. As far as they care they could have just called it killathrope.

Apparently this will be the first release batch of Nids that I'm not thrilled about. Agreed with previous statements - how patently average.

Here's hoping the other new bugs are a vast improvement, that first sneak peak bug is a bit underwhelming.

Haha, I wonder if that unit gains special abilities exclusively against Chaos Space Marines players to make it even less fun for them.

You know, once the spines/miasma chimneys along its back are cut down, that could be a decent mini.

Also, we should put together a bounty for someone to create a Pokemon 'Nid army. I've got $10 on it. If 20 of us got in on it, we could have a Dakkafied response to the new 'Nids ready by release time...

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Where do we start?

Anyway, I think with the Trygon we will get a plastic kit, but like the Stompa and Stormlord, Apocalypse only. Unless its stats are nerfed.
