Took it thought it interesting, but there's one question I don't like: How often do you visit your gaming store. Some months I'll go 3 times a week, and sometimes I won't go for 3 months because I'm too busy.

Not to many as alot of your typical gamers won't fit into a closet

Indeed, let alone fit a gaming table into one...

Done and Done. Don't know if I fit the sterio type being almost 30, athletic, masters degree, and a part owner in a business. Then again, maybe we are the norm ...though come to think of it, I am very much single and my hobbies have been the death knell to more than one date :(

Are you planning on asking other forums? If so, you should do some other than Warhammer forums, because you don't want a bias to warhammer players.

Perhaps ask some other sites. Are you planning on asking /tg/?

Took the survey.
Curiousity makes me ask- what stats are you going to do on the data? There's gonna be a pretty big responder bias.

I guessed around $25,000 over the last 14 or so years that I've been walking around with my own money to spend. A 30,000 card magic collection doesn't build itself, nor a 300+ collection of video games, then there's Netrunner, Star Wars, Marvel vs. D&D, D&D minis, trips to conventions, LARPing costs me about $200 an event and there's 7 events a year and I've been doing that for 7 years, Warhammer's cost me $1,000 this year alone, if you count PCs for gaming, my laptop, World of Warcraft account for four years, any other pay for play games I've played...

Let the missus know good luck with this mate, pretty interesting basis for it i guess.
and as said, its not something usually covered by this kind of thing. (console gamers tend to take the light)

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
