Scribor is expensive because its 1 , just ONE model.
They dont mass produce / cast them like GW of FW.

Its pretty much like asking them to sculpt a mini for you out from scratch .

For that price, I'd rather Scibor sculpt a custom piece.

Wait wait,

Why are we discussing Scibor in the news and rumours area.

He is neither new, nor a rumour. *chuckles*

This guy has been around for yearssssss, and so he makes a crapton of profit.

Whether we think he sucks or not.

He does have some really exaggerated cool stuff.

But at the high price tag.

But people will always buy.

Sorry can't disclose.....infiltrating

Kind of bland and dissapointing from Scibor, they usually do very nice job on things such as these

See, even that I don't get. What's the big deal with press-moulds? I mean, some of the stuff he makes is amazing. Who cares if it's done with a press-mould, a sculpting tool, or if he wills the green stuff into position using naught but his mind!!! Does it really matter that much?

Personally, Ive never cared for their style of marines/terminators. How ever you want to call them. They've always look far to bulky for me. And I agree with anything not made from a mold, looking pretty bad, specially for the price tag

What i wouldn't give to be able to do that :/,

Some peopel still btiching about the indivudal sculpts and ignroe his entire other range. (just peeves me)

I will say i do agree with some comment son the termies, but mainly cause i hate the stupid tubrine that poeks through the cloak, but what ever. if i ever won the lottery he is still oen of the people i'd try and commision for some truly epic models.

also those 3 space dwarf sculpts are fairly new aren't they?

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

Like with some of GW's stuff scibor can be hit and miss. I thought his Eldar seer council stuff was amazing. However some of these horus heresy models are blah.
Also why do the chaos dwarves have hersheys kisses on there heads?

They are good and not so great at the same time.

I like some of the detail and his imagining of certain aspects is kind of neat.

Other parts of the models seem like he slacked on the modeling or just didn't consider how it would look overall.

My biggest issue is the cannon on the Celtic warriors right arm. It looks like there wasn't even an attempt made to make it not look like it came out of some child's play-do toy.

Yeah, ph34r said that too.. and I have to wholeheartedly agree. Everything about that cannon and all its joining parts seems really half-heartedly made. I almost am curious to see it from the side and also terrified to at the same time.

I like the overall figures and the detail, however the Weps do look a bit ropey.

How about because this thread isn't about his entire range, it's about this specific set of model?

Yes you are right , the ratio looks ridiculously different than GW ratios ,
but oh wait... was GW ratio normal to start with?

And no im by no means making an attack on GW ,

So Scibor's "Terminators" are smaller than GW's standard Marines.

He should be shot for this heresy!

I was expecting this post.
I never mentioned Games Workshop's miniatures, did I?

I stand by my post: Scibor can't seem to agree on a scale when he makes a miniature. The armour is hilarious.

It is kind of amusing that people knock on GW for scale, but then go to such lengths to defend it in other cases.
But like has been said:
If I want overpriced resin Terminators...I'll stick with Forge World conversion kits and the bog standard Terminator box.

Just so we are on the same page ...
Which "scale" are we talking about? Are we talking about the scale as in the dimension of this sculpt ?
because im not too sure you know exactly how big it is , so it cant be this.

Then are we talking about the body ratio?
