Clearly Kanluwen did not see my general warning to everyone above. So I will interpret what he meant to say:
Modquisitor Frazzled is bestest Mod!
Anyone who disagrees with Frazzled clearly needs psychiatric conditioning, because Frazzled is always right. Always.
So again, lets argue the points and not the person or further warnings will be
issued.

People do burst into sudden rages for all kinds of personal reasons such as feeling ill, stress at home (the wife just said she wants a divorce) and other kinds of frustrations.
I have done it myself, and gone and apologised later on.

If he had a good reason, why would he apologize?
BoT, i`ve had this kind of thing once. The redshirt hadn`t got the BB game he had ordered. i sat there peacefully gluing together my Rhino, with my stuff spread out (there were two guys around the table).
"Hey, you in green! People need space!" I did as he asked, and then two minutes later: "Hey, reddie! Put the top on the gluebox!" "But i need it right no..." "No kidding around, put the top on!" So i put the top on, placed the SB, took the top off again, glued on the "googles", put the top on, read the instruction, took the top of again and glued on another piece and so on...
Later, he showed me how to paint dirt on my predator, and everything was jolly good again

Maybe you're venting nerd rage on the internet? Maybe you're glossing over things you or your friends said/did to prompt a reaction from the manager?
The facts simply don't add up.
This is a textbook case of the just world phenomenon, is it not? Upon hearing a story of this kind, people automatically jump to the conclusion that the victim must've deserved it.
It's more a case of it being illogical. There is no cause to rage, therefore it's likely that the OP was leaving something out to make himself look better, or there was some aspect of his behavior that he was unaware of that was causing problems. Sorry, I just don't buy his story.

Even nice people can be dickholes now and then.
If you shop there all of the time and this is an odd-ball, 1 time ever occurance, I'd let it slide. If this has happened more than once, take your custome elsewhere. If it is a GW store, report them to GW.
Best of luck in the future.

im telling you right now that people have the right to assume this as this is one particular gw store is one of the best and the manager isn't one to randomly yell at people.
Maybe it wasn't the manager?
In any case, if the OP deserved the scolding, why did the employee apologize if it was warranted?
I hope that no-one ever tells anyone here that they were raped because I would hate to imagine the reaction. "You're not telling me the whole story...you must've done something to deserve this..."

That's the most ridiculous comparison I've ever heard.
And as for employees apologizing?
Even if they had good cause to get annoyed, they might apologize if they felt they overreacted. There is such a thing as manners, y'know.

A person can yell at someone or be mean otherwise for a good reason and still apologize for yelling or whatever after they cool down. The main point, I think, is that the manager did apologize and OP gave him the chance to do so. Again, looks like a happy ending to me. I'll take OP at face value on posting the thread: he wanted to see if other people have had similar experiences.

d'Artagnan is the 4th musketeer, so wouldn't T-Bone be the 5th musketeer (or 6th if you're familiar with the crappy cartoon Albert the Fifth Musketeer[)?
Edit, and yes, Hwangman, this is T-Bone

Is Tbone a full, tweenie, or mini? Looks like a Tweenie(I've got 2 minis and a Tweenie, looks about the same size as my Tweenie, the Black and Tan).

Equating scolding and rape is a logical fallacy at best.
Perhaps the OP and his friends were cursing, or were handling scenery haphazardly, or a thousand other things that might have caused someone responsible for a store to take offense. Since we only have one side of the story, we'll never know.
Let's toss this thread in the bin clearly labeled: GW Hatefest.

First things first... you gotto love mod teams with all these hilarious images, really makes me laugh.
On topic... its a human thing to burst and vent away sometimes for several diferent reason, even if the fella was the manager and even if he is a very professional person nothing makes you imune to just being human.
What makes all the diference is the maturity after the burst and the manager showed he was mature enough to handle his mistake, also a word of congrats to the young OP who hold on and didnt reply back.
These things happen everyday and sometimes for no aparent reason.

Yeah, I believe that equating it with a rape is a little brazen as well...
But tossing this in a GW Hatefest bin? Really?
Lemme see... if I remember correctly, the OP did not say "Man I hate GW now after this, they sucks!" or anything anti- GW related. He merely asked if anyone else had experienced this before. Don't even think he related it to GW in particular either. I posted two entirely unrelated-to- GW anecdotes that showed that some people do get yelled at/verbally abused for no particular reason. In fact, a co-worker of mine got blasted today by an irate parent for sending their child home for attacking and injuring another student (drew blood; automatic send home protocol). Obviously my co-worker deserved it... or is this the case of a parent ranting at her looking for a focal point of their being upset?
In fact, I'll have to re-read the whole thread now, but I didn't think it was overly about "we hates GW" and more about "Does this happen in the real world?" A few people mention GW Brighton (the location of the incident), and others mention their own experiences in stores, but to equate some negativity with the way things occur (with this instance just happening to be in a GW store) to a Hatefest? Wow, a little over the top, wouldn't you say? Despite what is discussed back and forth here, GW is usually concerned with their public image in regards to Customer Service, which is why the OP was probably apologized to. Like or hate their sales pitch(es), from what I hear they try to focus on the customers in store.
If it had happened in a FLGS, would we say people have a hate on for FLGS'? Nope, but because GW was mentioned, and we know EVERYONE either loves or hates GW here, it must obviously be a veiled hatefest at the evil empire!
... Nahhh, I don't buy that explanation either.
