@TryaelVladinhurst - Thanks for posting don't get too many!! What I am actually after is less of the ones that turned to Chaos but ones that have failed geneseeds, or have gone renegade but not Chaos...etc...
In most. Scratch that. All SM books i have read chapters get Initiates from many different worlds. That in mind they did take a hard blow.

talks about the rumors of sisters killing the Rainbow Warrior and the records deleted with a chapter symbol... nothing that hasn't been said.

I think there is a picture with a dead marine and a SOB standing over him smoking gun in hand...except the sisters name is Sin...
Rainbow Warriors are certainly intriguing as their symbol is also on the Space Crusade tiles of the early 90s.
I guess they go into the Unknown Section...

Would anyone be against me adding the Crimson Fists to this list?

Guys just to say that I am not going to be updating this unless I get info...but if someone finds this, and has new info please post, even a year or two from now. I won't class it as threadomancy.
Anyway....thinking of doing a army of the missing...made up of squads...as part of my PM blog for the Sigmarites....

The Knights of Blood have been excommunicated by the Inquisition, and appear to be in the process of going fully over to Chaos (though apparently the Blood Angels/Successors still tolerate them).

I came across this over at www.ironhands.com
'Space Marine Chapter Losses to date: 13 Lost in warp, 21 Irrecoverable battle losses, 9 Gene seed failure, 4 Inquisitorial purge, 16 Other circumstances.'
Can anyone help me fill out what chapters fit into which? There is no info on Ironhands...
So far I have Fire Hawks/LOTD as LIW
And Flame Falcons, Wolf Brothers as Purges...
So that leaves a lot...and then do the double up? So...are the Flame Falcons/Wolf Brothers also gene seed failure?
I really want to fill out the Lost in the Warp one...so any knowledge out there that can be shared would be great!
Manoknok
Current Listing:
LIW: Fire Hawks, Relictors, Star Scorpions = 3/13
Gene Seed: Flame Falcons, Wolf Brothers, Fire Hawks = 3/9
Destroyed: Emperors Scythes, Astral Knights, Emperors Swords (Necrons), Emperors Swords (Alpha), Venerators, Silver Stars, Shadow Wolves, Mortificators, Black Consuls, Knights of Eternity, ?Novamarines, ?Crimson Castelleans, Marines Errant = 14/21
Unknown: Brazen Skulls, Soul Drinkers, Rainbow Warriors 3/16
Most of your destroyed chapter are not destroyed.
The Astral Knights becames the Sable Swords

Where do you take that? And they still fit for the Imperium.

@ SkaerKrow - thanks...I will add it!
@ Dark Scipio - taken from the various submissions of people and also from Codexes. All checked on Lexicanum before posting...if listed there. I am not sure about the Mortificator's - I don't know why they are on there, as I've just been through and they are clearly alive...
But, for the Astral Knights, they are quite clearly no more http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Astral_Knights&redirect=no
