I call BS, you have to have a minimum of 20 warriors in any game, and 8 left wont cause phase out, you need to go down to 5.

deepstriked 2 units.. first one landed on my leman russ and was wiped out, second one landed on a different leman russ and was destroyed.. I had to take a 5min break from giggling too much

Most epic fails on an opponent:

Top of turn 1, a foot eldar player fleets out into the open. I train my heavy bolters on him. The little green X's are where a 400 year old artist died:



That game did not end well for him.

The other was against a necron player who kept 20 warriors in reserve back in 4th ed, when necron couldn't walk on the field if they put them in reserve:



Turn 1, a lascannon aces the monolith, counting the warriors as destroyed. Another lascannon takes down another necron model, phasing out the necron player at the top of turn 1. Shortest game ever.

The most epic fail on me was this game, where I had 1850 points of guard, every squad of which equipped with at least three weapons that contained the word "melta", and S10 ordnance all shooting at a single land raider. It just drove on in, picked up its cargo, and drove on out...

I had a PBS assault some tau battlesuits. all 3 suites died and i lost 1 psyker

My good friend plays Orkz and once tried to test out Dread bashing with his new scratch build Deff Dreads and Killa Kans and chose me, a Tau player, as an opponent. My Hammerheads and Shas'O with Fusion Blaster and Missile Pod devastated his army for 2 full turns. To add insult to injury I beat his Power Klaw wielding Big Mek in close combat after destroying his battle wagon with the aforementioned Shas'O.

Besides that I have pulled quite a failure against his Necrons. I assaulted his Warrior squad with a 20 man Kroot squad, got first strike, but killed nothing. He then proceeded to kill three of my Kroot and OUTRUN them . Necrons must jog in their spare time I guess

My friend plays Tau and had his Commander do the same with the body guard, except he didn't know I could assault of my LRC with my Termies :p wiped out the entire command squad and Commander.

Oh believe me, the look on his face was absolutely priceless...

I turned the LRC facing his big squad, moved it the max speed and started putting my Termies on the table (No I didn't do any shooting... I didn't need it lol) and hes like, "You can't deploy your Termies after moving that far."

All I replied with was "Oh I'm not deploying... I'm assaulting :-)"

He now DS a good distance away since every game we've played.

I have this pompous chaos playing friend who saw my leman russ executioner backed up against my board edge. There was about 5 inches between the edge of the world (edge of the board) and the leman russ's rear armour. Sure, killing a Executioner on turn 2 is a prize, but not when you try to do it with 5 deep striking termies trying to target its rear armour.

5 termies scatter off the board, destroyed. I said afterwards (I was going to the toilet, my teammate was supervising) why the hell didnt he deep strike next to it, side armour 13 is a fine target for a combi-melta. He proceeded to tell me I was an idiot, at which point I pointed out what he had instead chosen to have done with those 5 oh-so-valuable terminators.

i had a squad of guardsmen out in the oppen and my apponent attempted to bolter them to death. only to roll 10 1s and 2s

Tournament last Saturday. i had orks and my partner had eldar. we were playing imperial fists and daemons.

almost all the units are locked up in the middle, my boys are taking a beating in the middle as fateweaver is giving them save rerolls, and i cant kill anything. fateweaver is not in the combat, just nestled up close giving rerolls to eeeeeeveryone. we are up 2-1, need to win by 7 for a massacre. our final turn comes up, i fire off my lootas at fateweaver, i get 8 shots, one hits, and one wounds. fateweaver fails his two 3+, then rolls box cars for ld and dies. the epic fateweaver fail leads to a massive beat down in CC and we win 9-2, a massacre, which leads to us placing 1st.

Veteran guardsman unit DSed next to a plague tower in apoc. They had melta bombs.

boom.
one dead plague tower, 50 dead orks, and a dead deamon prince of slaanesh (took his last wound).

the veteran squad took 3 casualties from the blast, then got nommed by the rest of the orks and the plague termies.

Same game.
Last turn, tau battlesuit with fusion blaster in combat with my DA SM company commander with a power weapon. Got him down to 1 wound left. Failsafe activates and my company command passed the inv. save.

Also got commander farstrike down to one wound.....
