This story used the words "speculation" and "implication" a few too many times for this to seem like it matters too much. I would have labeled the thread "More Plastic DE Kits in Production through June 2011" as that's the only thing that was expressly stated in the story.

Unfortunately, certain trolls here are attempting to do the same to this thread.

It's not entirely a repost though (and personally I never actually saw the original post anyway), given that I asked him to clarify some things, his response being the second quote.

Still, it's strange that we've heard more about Sisters than we have about Necrons or Tau if Sisters are being pushed back.

This makes me a bit sad. I was hoping Sisters would be soon. As much as I've enjoyed painting the metal battle sisters I would definitely like to see them in plastic, with more choices, and such. More fluff is always appreciated as well.

I definitely see the issue with robes, especially with the seraphim... hopefully they work it out quick and get to releasing the stuff. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

We very rarely actually hear anything to begin with. The only time we get rumors is usually when something crops up.

Where does this "sisters being pushed back" thing keep coming from?

It implies that they had a scheduled release to begin with, which I don't think any of us actually know for sure. Jes Goodwin is a sculptor, talking about sculpting Sisters of Battle models. Relating that to possible release schedules is tenuous at best.

This is Dakka. A member of GW's financial team could say that quarter four is down and someone would somehow interpret it as a second coming of Squats.

Okay, now I see that some formulations are diffe.rnt from the one he posted in this thread ( http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/30/326685.page ) , where you also posted. He realized that he repeated himself at the end of the post.

And I see more rumours about Necrons and Tau, even when Sisters were started not much after GKs.

Dunno, haven't seen much of anything for either (Especially not for Necrons, who are supposed to be after GK AFAIK), when I saw at one point early this year a rumor which listed Sisters models that were seen in the design phase, mostly special characters.

How much did we know about Dark Eldar, outside of they were coming?

If Necrons are, as has been suggested by...well almost every rumormonger, getting a "complete overhaul"...then that's likely why we're not seeing anything.

We had glimpses of the art style that was going to be in the new codex, but I don't think we had THAT much to go on.

Which is exactly why it's weird to have this news to talk about here.

It's really not that weird. We get information about the production process of the models, simply because the sculptors like to talk about it.
