thanks guys. I'm totally aware of the restriction. that's why I made the weapons magnetized. I can just remove one when playing. or I can call out that the one is there just for "show" and has no real gameplay presence.

Hello All, your friendly neighborhood kronkle here!

I've gotten about 90% of the way done with the nurgle prince. He's still a bit shiny because I paint on a gloss coat before I do washes. So in the final He will have a matte finish. I'm comfortable enough to show him though. I just got my scibor bases in today which, I have to say, I'm extremely impressed by the quality of the resin casts. I think his stuff is the best I've seen. I can't wait to get started on it. but for now I just posed him on the base to show him off. I hope you like. crits welcome. <3

Nice job kronkle. Definitely something you can't find at Kmart. I actually prefer the "ball kicked" looked than the mask. Makes him unassuming how powerful he is. Kinda looks like an wx-boyfriend I dated. Ha! Exalt +3 on this on. Keep it going brotha.

I am VERY much loving this thread, your zerkers look amazing!

more updates to the prince's base. at the advice from a friend I decided to move his positioning on the base. I didn't like where his feet rested on the previous pics, he looked too far back on the base. I really had no other choice as the face and details of the base make it very limited for a different position. So I used some milliput putty and made him some foot rests. It will look more like he's barreling down on his enemy this way. I will show when the miliput is dry. Hopefully I didn't F up the base too much :/

wow you read my mind! I just finished adding some skulls to the base....

Well I finally put the finishing touches on him and was able to spend some time taking some pictures. No matter how good (or bad) I paint you can't see it unless the photography is good. so I spent tonight making a light box. and here are the results. I definitely see a big difference and see how important it can be when trying to photograph these little buggers...

Very crafty of you. I noticed the touches you've made on the base. Most of the nurgle prince I've seen have been one dimensional green and never this multi-dimensional. Very creative and would be exciting to play. Looks like there was a spine on the base too. Nice touch if it was intentional.

wow thank you, that's really nice of you to say. I can't take much credit for the modeling on the base, I only added some rocks and a few skulls, http://sciborminiatures.com/ is the real genius!

well....I know it's been awhile since I posted. things have been a bit crazy here. but I've been slowly crawling through my possessed csm's. I went with a "Purge" color scheme. Nothing to special to report really. I wanted to burn through these guys pretty fast because I just wanted to finish my csm battleforce. final results in pic below.

Damn, I was sure I had commented on your Plague Daemon Prince : he looks awesome, Father Nurgle will be pleased !

The mix of colours makes it a really interesting mini ! And the small touches on the base add so much to it too ! How about some more ?

Nice job Kronkle. Even though you went with a Purge CSM scheme let's see some daemonic pizazz in cause after all they are "possessed" marines, right? A touch of reddish hue inside it's wings would make it badass. They breathe fire after all!

it's weird how alike we think.... I was planning on doing red in the wings all along. but because of time (and sheer laziness) I didn't add it in. but I might go back and do that now that I had a critique about it
