For 375 points 12 power weapon attacks with WS6 I5 S5 + 6 Power weapon attacks with WS8 I6 S5

Usually I should hit on 3 and wound on 3 not to mention that they are thoughnes 5 and have a 3+ save and a 5++ invul.

My Favorite unit in the game has to be Sisters Repentia.
Maybe they aren't really effective on the table top, but the idea of a mob of scantily clad devotees to the Emperor equipped with massive chain swords and whipped into a frenzy by a nearby preacher running across a battlefield to find absolution in death is pretty awesome.

For a more useful unit I would probably say that I really like Armored Sentinels with Plasma Cannons. They are expensive but when you put down other threats they often get ignored and can really ruin someone's day.

Cheers,

on average, a SM libby will pass his test on 3d6(Avrg roll of 10) and have a greater chance of passing then failing.

then he also has a 3++ save to protect him.

Necron scarabs - the unsung swiss army knife of the Necron army.

What can it do?
* Move like a jetbike
* 3 wounds per base
* Disruption field spells death to vehicles
* Deep striker

What can I do with them?
* Ablative armor for my Destroyer Lord or Spider
* Speed hump/tar pit - nothing wastes a turn for a really expensive enemy unit like a cheap bunch of scarabs
* Tank hunter with the disruption field
* Distraction unit

He doesn't have a greater chance of passing then failing. He, in fact, has the exact same chance to pass as he does to fail. The average roll on 3d6 isn't 10, it's 10.5.

To expand:

Ld 10 on 3d6 passes exactly 50% of the time (and fail 50% of the time). And, you have a 27.5% chance for 12 or higher.

His save (a 3++ invul, but you have to re-roll success) will fail 55.6% of the time. So, each power the Libby uses will result in a 15.3% chance for a would.

Summary:
50% chance to use power, 34.7% chance to fail power and no wound, 15.3% chance to fail and take a wound

Not exactly likely to cause a wound, but it's more effective than shooting him with a bolter.

My favorite against Dark Eldar is the Parasite of Mortex. He's faster than most of their non-HQs and spawns Rippers super quick. I've had him be practically on his own in the field and then suddenly have an entire army nearby to charge in and throw buckets of dice at my opponent(5 attacks per base on the charge).

My general favorite is the Zoanthrope though. Awesome model(except it's top-heavy to the extreme ), great fluff, and sweet rules. Yeah, yeah, Hive Guard usually outperform them, but they have utility in their AP3 blast and anti-tank shot. My opponent's reaction to the Warp Lance when it hits is just priceless too.

Me: "Ok, two hits on your battlewagon, glances on 2s."
Him: "It's front armor is 14...."
Me: "S10 AP1 Lance"
Him: "whaaaaaaaa?"

My Salamander assault terminators with TH/SS.
with 3+ invulnerable saves and all (free!) master crafted thunderhammers, there is not much in the game that can stand against them.

Especially in big games where I can use my Tu'shan conversion of Lysander!

Lysander with a squad of Salamander Assault Terminators with TH/SS will beat ANYTHING! (they can catch)

The humble IG Griffon.

Originally I just like the concept but now its utility has really grown on me.

Accurately dropping S6 pie plates on most infantry targets from cover is always good fun and being Ordnance as well can be quite effective on some low AV targets as well.

I love Tyranid Genestealers. Between their sneakyness, speediness, and killyness I never know which I love most. I think that they work very efficiently as intimidation weapons too. Stick a couple dozen of these on your opponent's flank and watch him suddenly avoid that entire hunk of map. Running a pure stealer list I once butchered an entire Tau army in about 3-4 turns which was delicious. I also really like how twisted and inhuman they look. You can almost see that human inspiration in their shape but it's been perverted into something really alien. They really remind me of H.R. Giger's Alien that way. Another reason: SPACE HULK!

3X Armoured Setneils with Plasma Cannons. I know this unit is Supposed to be horrible, but in nearly every game I've used them in they end up being amazing. The trick is put them in a list thats all ready got alot of tanks so they don't feel like as big of a threat as they can be. Hands down my favorite unit in the Guard Codex.

Scout bikes in a DoA army.

If the army deep strikes the scout bikes outflank.

If the BA army starts on the board and goes first the scout bikes alpha strike enemy vehicles in the form of a turn 1 charge before they can move.

If the BA army goes 2nd and starts on the board they turbo boost in front of my army to give everybody else cover while the T5 3++ cover 4+ FNP scout bikes take the brunt of enemy fire.

The chance to pass or fail is exactly 50%. Also, the Space Marine Librarian does not have a 3++ save. He does not have an invulnerable save at all. So if you take a perils every other turn if you only cast 1 power per turn, you will take a wound.

I think my favourite unit in the game has to be Crisis Suits. Power armoured jump troops specifically designed to go hunting for trouble, supporting their colleagues for The Greater Good (Here's hoping they become Troops in next codex )

I think it's more likely that they will count as scoring units with a specific HQ or hardware upgrade. They need to be able to score, but every army consisting of nothing but 6 units of crisis suits would be a boring codex.
