Awesome. Heresy armour and a topknot methinks. Might even pullout one of my flashy fw heresy suits.... He'll get an umbra ferrox bolter for sure just because SoH are my favourite colour scheme (and because i have five spare lol).

I actually just dug up a bunch of old Marine bitz I could definitely spare (plus its all for charity which is awesome) PM the details for shipping and such and mark me down for Luna Wolves for now if you would be so kind. After I get associated in my new apartment (moving in a few days) I will get crackin' on a Sergeant and or regular grunt for my favorite Legion. Plus I may do a few more if it works out

Mr.Malevolent I'm creating a Lunar Wolf Sergeant based on the cover of False gods. When you paint him drop a PM to me as to your colour scheme or a picture, and I will copy the base colour scheme so they will compliment each other.

To everyone else can we clarify the "Basing" are we mounting on normal 25mm bases and they will be changed to 40mm? Or are we doing Urban 25mm which will then be integrated into a larger Board. It seems like there are alot of good ideas and alot of enthuisiasm but we just need a little bit of direction ( a touch of rudder to keep the ship moving forward) as there seems a bit of ambiguitiy.

Hi all

So me and Ed are going to be making a display surround with a recess for a 25mm base, so you guys can model up the base the marine will be on as you like, with a little banner scroll on it for the chapter name or whatever. We'll get the masters made as soon as the Valkyrie kit has finished cutting on the CNC.

a set of Warmill bases will definitely be the icing on the cake for whoever wins THAT auction

I have an idea that I'll just throw out here. You could set the deadline for September and take all the Space Marines you receive to Games Day. If you mention that this (and the other Conclave) are for charity I'm sure you could get some GW endorsement as well as bringing it to a wider audience (which could bring in more cash this time).

I'll be attending this years GD no matter what, but given that this is a fairly unique project I'm sure that it would be welcome at the event. On top of this I would be happy help out at the event if you go with my suggestion.

Also, I regret to inform you that the Thousand Son and the Word Bearer will have to be Terminators. I hope that isn't a problem.

Looks like we have someone to do the bases ^_^ I can't seem to see your pictures though...

I asked Dragonforge but didn't get a reply yet. I'm still up for painting 100 or so bases. Could finish it in a about a day anyways.

Even if you weren't there in person as long as we had enough of the heavily involved Dakkites (ie. the ones making the display board) then surely we could have a stand. The Pre-Heresy ones would definitely capture a sizeable crowd thanks to the new books that BL keep churning out.

I'm glad that you don't mind them being Terminators. It's only due to the fact that my local GW is offering, for £7, unlimited use of ALL of the different Terminator sprues to make a Termie hero. The opportunity to plunder GK parts, Chaos and other relevant pieces was just too good to pass up.

It should come off the base easily enough if there are to be specific bases.

We going to go for a 40mm base with a 25mm drop in which will allow people to base their own mini and drop it into the 40mm base

If you are still up to paint the bases your could do the 40mm ones for us

I think Im going to have to move over to the other auction. Can't find the left pre heresy FW armor I had.

Nah dont stress mate you can submit normal marine armour but just paint the legion colours

Well, I had a good day today building this guy. The Pre-Heresy Word Bearer.

Very nice, needs a Tome or Book or something, and a Bolter hanging down from a sling or something to bring it together.

Don't worry I'll be sure to add it. He's still missing an arm which will have a book attached to it as well as an Apothecarion drill/saw.

Yeah sure I will buy the forge world 5 pack (to make up for forgetting your last thing) and paint :

World eaters (Can I paint a version of Kharn ?)

Night lord (can I paint a version of Talos ?)

Ok guys

Just an update from the previous Conclave auction

The winner has paid for the auction

So after ebay fees and paypal fees were paid the total came to £65 raised and the charity chosen by the winner was Doctors Without Borders
I will be putting the donation through in the next couple of days

Good job all

If they are all done by september I'm willing to take them upto Games Day. Other dakkaites can help. If we got it done in time, armies on parade could be an option.
