Canterbury is the only one i've been too, it's my local gaming club.
How many of you who've been there liked it?

I've been in 3 here in Southern California. The only thing I've ever bought in one was a WD. The first was at Ontario Mills, which years later "relocated' 45 minutes further away from me. The others were at The Block in Orange, and the newest store in Mission Viejo(which was filled with 12 year olds.
None of the stores impressed me at all, and the pushy salesmanship has been why I never go back.
GMI Games in Riverside is both closer to me than any GW store, and the owners are some of the nicest people in the hobby I've met.

I used to live in Scotland when I was much younger, and while I was there, I visited a few stores (the one in Aberdeen where I lived, and a couple while I was visiting other cities- I think they were ones in Edinburgh and in London).
Since moving back the the US, I have visited only the GW store in Denver- which I think is the only one within a ten hour drive of me.
I don't know if I'd say I would be luckier to have visited more GW stores- I really prefer the independent stores that I have visited. And I do frequently visit the LGS of places I'm just passing through.

1 GW store, and 8 FLGS.
Had to edit that a few times as I kept remembering game stores that closed over the years.

A grand total of 0 here. I live in Tampa, FL and until recently, the closest was hundreds of miles away. Apparently they opened one over in Orlando, but haven't made my way over there to see how good/bad it is. We have ample FLGS here.

Hmm
-Oak Park, IL
-Gurnee Mills, IL
-Fox Valley mall, IL
-Orland Square Mall, IL
-Bloomington, MN (a now defunct store I think...)
-Woodfield Mall, IL
I'm sure there have been others, but I don't recall exactly, so I'll say 6.
This seems like a Topic that should have a Poll attached!

I usually am on the lookout for GW stores when I travel..
One of them (I'm looking at you San Francisco!) was closed although it still showed up on google Maps (maybe I should have called first).
And although not a GW store - the oddest place was a stand alone GW only retailer in Jakarta, Indonesia that said his gaming group was over 100 people and his store was better stocked that most GW stores I've seen. He even had Forge World stuff.. craazy!
