Aaron Rodgers
64.9% Completion Percentage
8.0 Yards Per Attempt
95 TD

2.88 TD to Int
99.6 QB Rating
Brett Favre
62.0% Completion Percentage
7.1 Yards Per Attempt
1.54 TD to Int
86.0 QB Rating
And what does Aaron have that Favre will never have? A Super Bowl ring, and for now, class.

Who would've thought that Aaron Rodgers would become better than Favre so quickly?
And yet the bears have one of the best teams of all-time in their history.
That needs to be said again one of the best teams of ALL-TIME.
QB is not required to have a great team. sure it helps, but Look at the 2005 Bears. They had Rex Grossman starting for them and reached the super bowl. His passer rating in a few games was under 4.5.
And Aaron Rodgers, is in no way better than Brett Favre. To make a claim like this is Insanity.
Favre has:
11 Pro bowl selections.
3 time NFL MVP
5 time NFC player of the year
Rated #20 NFL Player of all-time by NFL.com as of 2009 season.
3 time First team All-Pro selection.
2 super bowl appearances.
1 Super Bowl Victory
Seems kind of unbalanced in favor of Bret Favre.

I don't think I've ever seen a stupider comparison, I really don't.
How many years was Favre in the NFL? 19? How many has Rodgers had? 6?
Nice job comparing a players entire career to only the prime of another's career.

lol
Favre's best season in his prime was a 99.5 rating, lower than Rodger's career rating. Favre's season in Minnesota with a 107.2 rating was a fluke sandwiched by two terrible 19+ interception years.
In his prime Favre threw more touchdowns than Rodgers, but he threw more interceptions, for less yards, and at a lower completion percentage.
Rodgers is more accurate, makes better decisions than Favre, and is second only to Michael Vick in scrambling ability. It's a toss up as to whether or not he's a better passer than Brady or Peyton, but he's certainly a more complete quarterback than either one.
Those years Favre won his MVP awards he wasn't going up against RBs racking up 20+ touchdowns a year or against a QB on par with Peyton or Brady.

Talk to me in 13 years (assuming he plays until he is 40, highly unlikely), and then we will compare. I'm not arguing bs with you because you are arguing a half-complete career with a full career.

You mean going 6-10 last year, 2-14 the year before, and 0-16 before that.
There's a slight trend of improvement, but they've gone from "Worst Team Ever" to "merely mediocre." Not that impressive.
That's exactly what i mean. 3-0 not impressive. What NFL you watch? I'm not an Lions fans and definitely anti NFC, but it is what it is. Lions are doing great from where they've been. It shouldn't be hard to recognize that.
How about them lowly Lions. 4-0.

Player of the Week, Aaron Rodgers - 408 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, 2 rushing touchdowns.
We could witness multiple QBs pass for 5000 yards this season. Right now Drew Brees, Cam Newton, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Tony Romo are on pace for 5000+.
Calling it now
-Passing Yard Record will be broken
-Receiving Yard Record will be challenged and potentially broken by Steve Smith or Wes Welker

Gotta love the Eagles.... when they don't spend money, they can be amazing..... when the do, they totally suck.
2 of 7 in the redzone? dropping a 20 point lead?
They had over 400 yds passing but gave up almost 300 passing yards. So a big part of the problem is definately defensive backs, LBs and Corners.
I thought Nnamdi Asomugha was supposed to be "somebody", 7 tackles and 1 Int in 4 games?
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, 8 tackles and zero Int?
The only Corner that seems to be doing his job is Samual 15 tackles and 1 Int.
If you look at the Yardages for SF.... Gore broke a run for 40, big passing plays....
Crabtree - 38
Morgan - 30 + TD
Hunter - 44
Davis - 26
Three others went 10+.
Yeah the Eagles Secondary has a lot to answer for.
As for the Offense..... Again this year they are having redzone issues.. that is completely on the Offensive Coordinator and O-line coach.
So much for having "Big Names"......

Despite about 100 yards in penalties in the first half alone and taking 14 points off the boards from penalties, the Texans held on to win against the Steelers.
Very proud that they could regroup from last week's failure, and hold on to win this one against such a tough defense.
Good, but not great, job today.

As a Broncos fan I'm still licking my wounds. Damn. Starting to agree with the growing call to just let Tebow have a go, and not via this half arshed 'package' thing they where trying to pull. Could hardly do much worse, and I've never been a big fan of Orton, so letting him throw for the rest of the season would be a plus point in my book.

I've been saying (and agreeing with Skip Bayless) that Tim Tebow should play the entire season as the starting quarterback so he can grow as a player. He's not going to do gak standing on the sideline watching Orton, its not the same as Favre > Rodgers.
Broncos are terrible with Orton or Tebow, but only one can actually get better at this point.
