Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

The problem, which this whole debate comes from, is Tyr can be pronounced several ways. I was making a sarcastic comment, since your initial pronunciation isn't shed any light at all.

See I'm American and I still pronounce it with the long I, just like I pronounce Tyranny with the long I. It just sounds more natural to me. I wouldn't say one pronunciation is exclusively British or American.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

I'm with the "teer-a-nid" crowd... though I pronounce "tyranny" as "teer-a-nee", but a "tyrant" is a "tie-rant".

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Whenever someones tries to correct my way of saying tyranid I clear my throat loudly in their face face and tell them its Tyranidese for "tyranid."

After they have wiped the flem from their forelocks they usually don't stick around to argue.
