Mat (with 1 T) Ward has really brought some new life into an old game. He gets a bad rap for some minor issues and deserves some love.

Why do they call them riflemen dreads? Autocannons are machine guns, not rifles. I wouldn't call something or someone who sprays the enemy with a rain of bullets a "rifleman". A lascannon is probably the closest thing to a rifle, even though it's a mega uber laZor thing.

Well, my middle name is Matt, and one of my old bosses is named Ward...there we go!! I'll just cut a T from my middle name, steal my old boss's name...and voila! I am the second coming of Mat Ward. Today almost makes me not hate Valentines Day...almost. I'm still going to go get gakfaced. If you don't see me on here later tonight, I didn't survive the "party." Oh well, at least with this thread we can treat V-Day as a joke, as well as a celebration for those in relationships and a vicious crushing of the spirit of those who are not. Hurray for today!

 Older version of the Rifleman battlemech. See a resemblance? Sigh. Kids these days. Wait... we need some sort of a 'Ward' mech. 200 tons, covered in ER-PPCS and has a million double heatsinks. With 6 arms, each with a battleaxe. That are also covered in pulse lasers. Why should Games Workshop be the only company to benefit from the legend that is Matt Ward? Let's get him writing for Privateer Press! And Wyrd! Corvus Belli too, and I'm sure the Battlefront team could use him as well.
