By turn 2 or 3 someone will remember "Oh we didn't roll for Nightfighting on turn 1!"

Right now, I'm constantly forgetting about all the extra rules that come with the gear on the royal courts. Not things like MSS or warscythes, but things like the assault move reducing stuff, what unit I shot at that is now in difficult terrain for their turn, forgetting I can make a unit take a leadership test instead of firing the flame template staff.

I also forget that some of my wraiths now have guns.

Forget to check for 6's on to-hit rolls with tesla weapons.

I forget this rule all the time, but not because I'm TFG(that would be the Eldar player in our group).

I forget this rule cause the crap rules writing makes me forget that this game was ever fun.

Here's a few common rules we forget in our playgroup:

1. Repair rolls for Rhinos. We've had more than one game where an immobilized Rhino just sits there for the entire game.

2. No embarking or disembarking onto a vehicle that plans on moving flat out. Whenever turn 5 rolls around, someone always hops in a transport and moves flat-out to contest.

3. Forgetting to replace exploded vehicles with a small area of difficult terrain. This one is often just to speed up and simplify games.

+1 for red thirst. I've never played a game as or against BA that didn't involve rolling red thirst mid-game. Apparently a poor game mechanic since nobody are able to remember it

I also very often forget the re-roll granted by a wolf-standard. I'll say I'm using my standard and then forget to re-roll regardless

I like how alot of these are Red-Thirst mechanics.

Be glad it's not like the old 3rd edition mini-dex, where you rolled for each and every single model in a unit to see if they join Death Company.

doesn't help. I've got nearly everything i use modeled, and still forget that its there. ive had rear armor open on a vehicle 3 turns in a row, forgot i had a 2 kombi rokkits in the unit. one is modeled being thrust up into the air.

Besides night fighting in 40k I forget panic in fantasy all the time. There are so many causes of panic and I rarely if ever test for it unless i inflict 25% shooting casualties.

Rear charges, flank charges, friends broken nearby, friends destroyed nearby, general death. Just always forget.

And so next time you get a turn counter out. And then by the end of turn 2 you've gotten so eager again that you forget to update it, leading to exactly the same conversation several turns later with the added bonus of having to try and remember when you did last update it.

Additions:
Like a lot of people; Night Fighting for DoW.
Stormravens don't have Scout as standard (luckily I don't play an army that can use them).
Purifiers are Fearless, so taking out 25% of the squad is never enough (unless I somehow managed to take out all the psycannons, at which point I couldn't care less about the unit).
My Crisis Suit units are not made up of identical models, so I keep rolling saves for the entire unit before realising that I needed to roll them seperately for the basic suits and the team leader.
Which units have successfully rolled to come in from reserve.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

This is me all the time.

In fact I forget a lot of my IG shooting, mostly because I have so much. I now work my way from one side of the board to another, which is sometimes a little awkward, but at least I don't forget to fire the Leman Russ hanging at the back anymore.
