Why don't we just make the baneblade out of punisher cannons?

Well, it needs an engine and armour.

It also needs crew, but if we cram enough punisher cannons in there we shouldn't have a problem right?

Damn the haters, Full speed ahead!

Bullets will be it's shield, recoil shall propel the tank forward. I see no problems with this.

This guy had the right idea, but he accidentally used sprue.

He was supposed to make them out of punisher cannons. A lot of them.

Punishercrons, same price as necron Warriors, made of 10-15 punisher cannons each. 2+ invuln save due to walls of bullets, T10 (because you can't kill a punisher cannon, you can only make it angry) and BS5 Twin Linked, even when snap shooting (Because if you miss, you're an awful person and should quit.)

Try calling Flying Circus cheese after that.

So one thing Inve noticed is that the Punisher cannon is essentially a litmus test for IG players. You can tell the serious ones from the guys who don't care, because every diehard IG player has a hardon for it, even if it was completely useless back in 5th.

However, there was another thing I've noticed. In the Armored Battlegroup entry for forgeworld, you can take punisher tanks as troop choices. You can also pay 10pts to give it +1 S on ALL VEHICLE PENETRATION ROLLS. What does this mean? It means that that punisher now fires 29 S6 shots a turn anytime it fires at a vehicle. I dont care if it's 210pts, thats the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Only thing that makes me sad is that the commissar tanks with BS 4 cant be punishers. Although that's probably a good thing, since one failed morale check would end up with your entire army getting annihilated

Oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god.

Guardsmen: "Retreat!!!"

Commissar just smirks and a loud whirr is heard from the cannon spinning up.

The retreating is over. Because the squad, and any memory of them is liquified pulp on the ground.

...that's not possible to one-up. It's marvellous. It's perfect. It's... beautiful.

As a side-note, as you don't care about insulting people in your sig despite asking others to PM you, I'll ignore that part of your sig too, but I'll be considerate and spoiler it so it doesn't "clog up the entire thread":
Spoiler:
I never said you're a bad person for being competetive, I said you were a bad person for curbstomping kids. If you don't then it obviously doesn't apply to you, but from the post I responded to that's what it looked like. Would you mind not violating Rule #1?

Punnisher was better in 5th, if only because its alternatives (i.e. blast stuff) would always give a 4++ cover.

If I play with commissar tanks, I'm going to do that.

"hey man your squad broke"
"crap, alright let's see how many hits the commissar tank gets''
"Wait what?"
*15 punisher hits later* "I do believe they are dead sir"

Just got done with my first commissar tank last night, it shall be glorious
