Sometimes gak happens...

I wanted to add a laser fence around the landing pad. Seems I miscalculated the size of the masonite board by an inch. Everything is glued and I didn't want to risk damaging the mdf parts by removing them. NO idea what to do.

This morning I was priming bases when it HIT me! Here is the solution to fix my mistake :

Isn't that groovy ? It looks like I planed it doesn't it?

Very, very nice. It also kind of matches the infinity models... I think the sputniks and salyut zonds (probably among others) have little bits that stick out from their normal shaped bases to hold their legs.

Very cool terrain/board.

I still think the orange colours you used are strange, but all together it fits very good And I also repeat Grimdork for the solution on the laser fence bases.

Nice. I think stuff like this is just as important as the buildings on a table to still provide some LOS blocking cover in those 'open spaces' that always seem to appear once you've placed the buildings. Can turn what would be a death trap into a usable part of the board.

Indeed! Adding vehicles on the roads is also important.

That raises a good point, might need to poke Antenociti to see when their sci-fi vehicle Kickstarter is going to get underway..

Those crated areas are a great idea by the way! Stacking them like that I think can work (and looks) better than just having them randomly scattered I think..

Nice! I especially like the CA warning board, is that some kind of purchasable laser-cut thing or a custom job?

Sick sick table, keep up the good work

The final piece of the puzzle: The medical centre

Preliminary work : I've been holding off on this one for the longest time. All the various design ideas I came up weren't convincing... until a few days ago. It pays to wait. Tell me what you think.

It all looks smashing! I always say, terrain can really make a game!

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of the women.

This may have already been asked/answered but...

How are you prepping your MAS stuff for painting?

I use Army Painter Color Primers. In this case the colour is called desert yellow. It takes 2 coats. MDF drinks a lot. Specifically the edges.
(Don't use white/black primer unless this is part of your color scheme.)

@Grimdork : Tx ! I did try to make each piece of terrain as cinematic as possible. Very soon I will get to try the finished table.
