The Cthulhu angle has slightly peaked my interest in this game. Can anyone here tell me if the Kickstarter price for the game and the scenario sets are discounted?

If so, what will the recommended retail price for the base game and individual expansions be?

So the basic pledge level for the game (£45) is the same as the recommended retail price?

Will the Saint Mere Eglise, Carentan, Pegasus Bridge and Shadows over Normandie scenario packs be sold at retail after the Kickstarter.

Finally, if I wanted to make 2 £90 pledges and 2 pledges for extra Cthulhu Zombies, can I do it as one or do I have to make them from 2 separate Kickstarter Accounts. Can I combine shipping for 2 orders to save postage?

you have the £175 pledge with everything twice and cheaper shipping cost.

Any stuff (except KS exclusive) will be be sold at retail after the kickstarter.

For every backer who purchases the 3 scenario sets (Ste-Mère-Eglise, Carentan & Pegasus Bridge) we offer him the last stretch goal to unlock (so we will edit it).

Current one is Wittmann & Tigre group.

If the 100K are reached, we'll create new stretch goals and the last one will be offered as replacement of Wittmann, and so on...

I'm in the exact same boat!

I can't really tell what the difference is between the pledge levels... I also can't tell why the 90 pound pledge level was limited to 250, but now there is an unlimited one? Is there any advantage to the limited one?

Zombies and Cthulhu has me way more interested than just straight up WW2. If someone could link to any updates that expanded on just those 2 things, as there's not much on the KS homepage, it'd be much appreciated

The limited 90 has a little patch, the unlimited does not have the patch.

No it was a mistake. We don't know yet. More infantry, mixed infantry/vehicles... We'll see.

Man... I just keep wavering. I love the art... I appreciate the stripped down, yet tactically complete way that this game both is, and is not a table-top miniatures game. On the one hand, I bet I could get this on the table when no one wants to break out the terrain, minis, etc...

But the price.... ye Gods... That is a very, very costly box of punch-board. I'm sure there is piles of gameplay value on said boards... but at the end of the day... this game should not be this highly priced, in my mind.

I really wish there was discount stretch-goal, or an eventual free expansion choice from the add-ons... Something. But right now, the "good" pledge, with US shipping still comes in at $151, for essentially a box of chip-board.

So was Steve Jackson's vanity edition of Ogre.... and in hindsight, most people have seen what a horrid "value" that was.

What are you talking about? If you're talking about the Kickstarter 6th ed. then you're going to have to back that up with pointing out where all these people who think it was a rip off, actually are.

Everyone who bid knew what they were getting and wanted it. Lots of people wanted it. If you don't like chip board that's fine, but there's a ton of us who are plenty happy with it.

why saiying it's 151$ ? It's 90$ for thefirst pledge.
And for that money you have the core game box, you have a full campaign set (landing), you have tiles for replayability. Man, you don't need everything. You can buy more stuff later after the release.
And i'm not talking about the sipping cost. It was maybe expensive but now, with the weitght added to the package, trust me, it's becoming cheaper and cheaper every stretch goal...

I think he means that for a USA customer, it would be £90 + £15 shipping = £105 which is about $160 at current rates for the 'sweet spot' level.

It would be £75 + £15 shipping for the minimum 'get the game' level, and that's $137.

I love the game though, and I'll probably still be in for the £90 level + the Shadows over Normandie expansion!

I know this is an expensive game for US backers, especially since it is cardboard and not minis, but I really like what they are doing with it, and I love that most of the extras get added on for free to my 90 pound pledge.

Project Update #64: The BIG 100K UPDATE

We did it !! Thank to all of you ! To be honnest, we hoped it but didn't expect it for real if you know what i mean.

We're amazed by what's going on ! Amazed, excited, happy and proud !

So here's the 100K Update :

Wittmann's unlocked so Lovat is the new reward for the scenario sets bundle pack. If Lovat, no, sorry, when Lovat will be unlocked, we will figure out what kind of candy we will provide instead, for the scenarion sets bundle pack reward. 2nd French DB ?

We created new stretch goals up to 150K (who knows...) to provide a complete and playable British army.

If we don't reach these goals, you can find them in the shop with a new infantry platoon for the Brits'. More Canadians. This infantry will be different form the first Brit one.

We also made a small change. The 2 alternative infantry platoons are no longer Kickstarter Exclusive.

A lot of people asked us to do it and, to be honnest once again, they were right.

It didn't have any sense. We hope you'll understand that.

One more Stretch goal unlocked and a new message...

We can't unfortunatly add quality bags into the core game box because of high final production price.

So, and because lots of you asked for bags and dice, we propose you this Special Kickstarter offer:

3 cloth bags, one for generic US army, one for generic German army and one for the Devil Pigs ! This last item is a Kickstarter Exclusive and won't be available after the Kickstarter campaign.

And because we, at Devil Pig Games, aren't stingy, we add 6 special embossed dice. 2 for the Ivy Division, 2 for the Panzer Lehr (these dice are different from those present in the core game box) and 2 Kickstarter Exclusive Devil Pig dice...

Hope you'll enjoy !

I probably won't go for this, as the game itself, Shadows over Normandie expansion and shipping have already stretched my gaming budget for the month/quarter/year - still, it is kinda cool!
