The army would struggle against horde and you will definitely see Tyranids at major events.

I have one more thing to try out in terms od variation and it would be either put guardians n a seepent and advance while the das hang back with the seer or to scrap the farseer and add a fire prism. Still playing with pointts but if we het another game in you will see one of the two variations.
With your farseer as he is currently, either of your suggestions have merit. Either
A) Dump the farseer (+ some dires) for a fire prism/night spinner or
B) Dump your autarch for a Laughseer, more spiders and 1 unit of guardian jetbikes.
A is probably the easier option for you to do at the moment. B would require an investment in models and time should you go that route.

I know Tau wasn't listed as one of the armies you own a few posts back so maybe thats a factor. I personally don't think they would synergize as well but I haven't seen it mentioned before.
Eldar + Tau actually work very well together. In fact, they have probably some of the strongest combos currently. With that said, WK+Riptides are certainly a viable combination. Do I think it's the best combination between the armies? No, but they can certainly work well together. The reason why I did not consider the combo is because then that would require me to get 2 new armies that I don't already have. GK+Eldar is fairly easy to do because I already have a massive GK collection, and my friend had a mechdar army lying around that I could use.

Horde armies are one of the armies that can potentially give my Greyzilla build problems.....but don't think for a second that I don't have the tools to handle them. 3 heavy incinerators will roast a lot of gribblies. Warp spiders and wave serpent definitely has the volume to kill in numbers. Finally, Draigo has a heavy flamer and each of my 3 soladins has Holocaust, which is a large blast weapon.
The only difference between playing hordes and some other armies is that I will have to play a lot more strategically against them. Playing too aggressively against them probably isn't the best way to play against such an army. The challenge will be that I will have to be a lot more creative against them.
BTW, this won't be an easy match for tyranids either. All my grey knights - dreadknights, hammerdins and Draigo (who will be S10 against the psykers) - will insta-kill almost any big bug in combat without Iron Arm.

If you were to drop one MC from the list you could beef up your Solodin squads a bit... I think even though you want to keep them off the table as long as possible they are the Achilles' Heel for this list. One DK would be worth around 4-5 Paladins. Interceptors might work well with this list as well.

But, but, but.....dumping a MC for some other "stuff" would actually make my list more balanced, which kinda defeats the purpose of it in the first place. j.k.
I hear you bro. Part of the appeal of this list for me is the playstyle of the army build. I try to make it as balanced as I can given the nucleus of the 4 MC's, but I'm not playing this list to win tournaments. I've got plenty of other really competitive and balanced armies for that. Instead, I play this list because I think it could be super-fun (at least for me, can't say the same for my opponent). It is also a break from the lists that I normally play, which are balanced, competitive builds. However, if I am finding it to be too strong for my opponents, then I will probably end up nerfing it to match my local meta. It's not too cool to bring a bazooka to a pistol fight.

Another entertaining report. Can't believe the rate you can churn these out.
It's been fun watching you work on your mechdar and now this stompy variant.
If you're still thinking of a nickname for your WK I propose "Clifford the big red knight"

Thanks! I have a rather large collection of models so will come up with a lot of different lists at times, so you will definitely see a lot of variety.
I was thinking of just calling him "Big Red" in addition to "Big Scary".

Nice report. Despite being few in numbers, Draigo Paladins are still formidable. Dreadknights seems really effective against Wraith Knights.

Yeah, Draigowing IMO has actually gotten better with allies. Both necrons and eldar address one of their biggest weaknesses - the lack of mobile scoring units. Draigowing is also highly resistant to a lot of the things that would hurt normal MEQ lists, namely heldrakes and missile-spam lists.

Thanks! It's not the strongest list and no where near balanced, but it's a fun list to play, at least for me.
