A3 and A2 photography back drops.

These are very interesting, I've always wanted to try and set up a permanent photo box in my war room.
Looking forward to seeing how much these will cost and what they are made of?

I think its kinda a smart move by G&G as if people adopt these alot of future gaming photos will have their product in the photos!

I just googled "photo backdrop/photo background" and got my wife to print a few on her work's colour printer. G&G ones will probably be a little nicer, and aren't terribly priced (well, depending on the material they're made of). They seem to be made of "durable" and "high quality", which means little in and of itself.

Hope they don't have the logo on it. At least not on the side you need to take a photo of that kind of defeats the point of the background.

Zing!

No logo? Heresy!

I am surprised that they haven't posted here regarding it, as they were very active about the battle boards. But the backlash about the brush quality may be part of it... I definitely thought the first campaign was too risky because of the brushes being unproven, and given the reviews I feel even more strongly about that this time.

I am waiting on some Battle Boards, though, along with 2 local friends I talked into pledging, so hopefully those impress!

I might have been willing to try for a couple of backdrops, but not until my boards are in hand...

they are made of fabric so I think they will have great properties for being background images. I expect they will less reflective than paper and ink.

I asked this straight away!
They have stated that there will be No Logos on the product.
I wouldn't have pledged for any if they did!

I'm down for 2xA2 and 2xA3. I'll get 2 of each of the blue and brown ones.
Its a shame that they don't have a bigger discount for all six. I might have been tempted to get the grey ones too.

Hmm, think I might pick up one of the backdrops. It is a great idea and while I printed off a background that looked incredibly similar to those, paper just doesn't work as well!

Edit: I take it that I can just pledge 10 pounds and select the no reward box and they will get back to me right?

You know, I'd probably pledge for the backdrops as well, but there's no pledge level for it, and no real timeframe, so...

Yeah,
They had said you must choose a brush pledge to access the shop items.
I think it's because they add the items to your order which already includes postage.

I think they should have had an al-a-cart pledge..
£5 or some thing to cover postage.
Access to the shop items.

But everything will be on their website in time.

Anyone here got their EB? I didn't pledge because of the poor quality in their first KS, but am hearing good first impressions of this one. Thanks!

I received mine, used them a few times and I really like them. I'm no expert painter but the tip seems to retain it's shape well, bristles hold the paint well and feels really comfortable in my hand. Overall it's been a great purchase for their price.

Mods - hope it is OK to necro this thread (or guess could maybe be moved to P&M section?). As these brushes are now available for common sale would anyone else like to post their findings about them, value for money/brush quality etc?

Was thinking of splurging out for them, the combined set price/survival kit seems pretty reasonable value in light of the normal price of sable prices.

Got a set for Christmas but haven't had painting time. First impressions - very high quality.
