Finally got the pictures!

That's sinister has hell, I love it!

I've got a model i painted at the paint and take at Historicon last Thursday for the fun of it. I didn't think to take a photo before though-would it still be okay to enter it? I've got a backup, but feeling very meh about it though.

Didn't think I'd be in this one, but we're starting a drive to make terrain for Warmachine-so that's the plan for these aquarium rocks and garden stakes.

garden stakes? how big is the terrain?!

Heres a bit of an update. I made some rocks out of plaster for the cliff face.

I'm in! It's not much, but I'll do this armorium cherub. I need him doing, and he's more a token/marker than a proper model, so he just about counts

Another update on the AOP board. Lucky for me the kids and wife managed to all fall asleep early last night so manged to block out all the basic colours on the board and to pretty much finish the rocks bit of a wash and some weathering to go and they done.

Not to happy looking at it now with the shape of the water but thats an easy fix.

Its going to be the sea. Got some blending to do in ut to give it its colour and the got water effects to do over the top for waves and such.

was painting poxwalkers, whilst waiting for a layer of paint to dry decided to play fallout, it had an influence...

Theme ideas for next month, go!

Rebirth: ancient miniatures that have been gathering dust, give new life to an old model by repainting it, fix broken eBay buys, things like that.

Make it Toxic! (Hazardous stuff,Lava,Acid Lakes,Death World Forests,Savlar Chem Dogs,Necromunda Gangs,Death Korps,Modian)
There's one idea too think about.

Works on multiple levels, drinking or twins!

...that said, I wouldn't have a clue...honestly, I'm still kinda trying to think of something I can possibly still slap together for this month!...don't think that'll happen though :(

however, I am kinda diggin the idea of both EmberlordofFire8's, and u971's suggestions...I'd be totally fine with either of them

Somewhat last minute, but I'm going to give this one a crack! I was lucky enough to pick up a Lost Patrol before they disappeared so I'll make a start on that for this month (I feel a boxed GAME matches the theme far better than the Librarian idea I had before)

Haha, Tzeentch must have turned a blind eye to me when he was dishing out subtleties.

Okay some that are a bit more generic and don't push my own agenda quite so obviously:

- Hack N' Slash
- Blood Brothers
- Fire

If you go with a theme like Toxic i bet alot of people would enter with their new death guard miniatures. And you could even efter assassins and stuff that use poisons.

@Bottle - huh. you're not bad at this mate...I mean, they're still kinda blatant ...but they'd all be good themes, lots of potential for all of 'em

@DanceOfSlaanesh - yup, if it ended up being "toxic", yeah, I'd probably be doing some of the new death guard stuff for sure...

One of the reasons i Suggested it,there would be alot of entry's...unlike this month!

The first two are ok, but the last one is GREAT! Fitting too, since my birthday will be coming up and who doesn't love a month of fire. Well done bottle.

Interesting, but I'm not sure how many people here could find something to fit the theme without just painting two models from a unit.

Sounds cool, but everyone will probably go with death guard. Not that that's a bad thing, though.

I'm sure I could find a way to incorporate Orks into it somehow, A nice Toxic Fungus Beer anyone?

I need to start actually painting some of my army, played my first game against a good friend the other day, was pretty fun. My first game for about 10 years or so I think.

Whatever the topics come up as I'm going to try and incorporate one of the units I need painting into it.

Anyway some progress on this months challenge. The Whack-a-mole table has been built and the snotlings are all ready to go, there's at least a base coat on most items. Nothing is glued down yet just balancing for the photos. However there still seems an awful lot to do in 8 days.

Theme - Things that go bump in the night. monsters, aliens, daemons, kittens...

How about some themes that relate to the upcoming Konor campaign in 40k, but could refer to other things for those who don't play 40k. Like maybe Good & Evil, Xenos Treachery, etc.
