None. They don't really belong on the table in games of less than 3000 points.

I've recently convinced my buddy to try an all-infantry 2500pt battle. For heavies, we get ONE dreadnought per side.

Should be a fun party.

A Knight-Acheron and a Baneblade. Also a Lynx, but I don't think that counts given that it hasn't been a superheavy since 6th Edition.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

I find it interesting that more people have 2-4 than just have 1.

2000 Slaves to Darkness (Ravagers)

I guess a lot of people bought the Imperial Knights Renegade game. In this box were two Knights and a building. This deal was quite a bargain and motivated me to pick up two boxes.

Three Ordinatus engines from 30k
22 Imperial Guard superheavy tanks of various flavours for my superheavy tank regiment
1 Macharius that is kind of an experiment - gone-wrong.
1 Praetor Armoured Assault Launcher - same thing.
4 Malcador Heavy Tanks (Used to be superheavies, are now heavy support without the Titanic keyword)
3 Valdor tank hunters.

I think that's it.

Hmmm

3 Knights
2 Gargants
2 Baneblades
1 Giant Squiggoth
1 Reventant Titan
1 Hierophant
1 Cron Obilisk

Nothing for my new Khorne army, have to get thinking on that one

for my Word Bearers (30K & 40K)

1 typhon heavy siege
1 kytan ravager
1 glaive special weapon tank

for my skitarii (and Word Bearers large games)

1 atrapos knight
1 magaera knight

just five at the moment, looking for something larger to add to my Word Bearers maby at the end of this year or early next year. Something like a thunderhawk, warhound. If I have the money, maby even a sokar stormbird. Eventually, I'd like to have a sokar stormbird and a warlord titan at some point in my life.

Well, three then, in my case.

And ultimately, at some point, I've got my eyes on 4 more down the road:
Guilliman, a couple of Baneblades (well, one for my IG and a Stormblade for my Mechanicus) and a Wraithknight.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

bloodthirster that I sometimes use as an'ggrath
land raider with front magnetised so I can swap between standard/achilles/typhon siege tank
stompa - not yet built

So either 5 or 3 depending on if you count models like a regular BT counting as a FW LOW. I'm not a fan of models that take up too much space off the board, so any superheavies I get are either small to start with, or are made to come apart between games. Stompa is a bit trickier as it is so bulky.

7 Knights
3 Baneblade/Shadowsword Variants
1 Marauder Destroyer
1 Reaver Titan

So *just* past 11+

I have had the joy of using all of them at once, against a single opponent with a similar ... compulsion, albeit not yet in 8th edition.

Knights are still sufficiently evil, but not untenable that I don't feel quite so bad running them regularly. The Tanks have been shelved with the rest of my IG collection because IG is not fun to play against for my area at the moment.

The Reaver only comes out with an appointment, because with all the steel that went in to it's assembly it weighs north of 20 kg on its own.

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.

Something built with the old VCR rule set was my first Super Heavy. A Walker.

Plastic Baneblades -> had no more "its resin" excuse to keep away from Super Heavies.

So 12 Tanks based upon the chassis of the Baneblade.

And 7 Knights. They almost built themselves..

The Praetor Armored Assault Launcher is the lonely FW Model in this category.

My answer: 21 Vehicles.

Got a reserve of 1 Baneblade kit and a Tesseract Vault kit.

The closest I come is 40k Guiliman. (who still needs paint)

In the few apoc sized games I’ve played, I’ve felt the lack of a big centerpiece model. But none of the marine ones really appealed to me. And how much do I want to spend on something I’m kinda “meh” on that’s only going to see the table once every few years? I know you can use them in normal games these days, but that’s not really my style.

I’d be more likely to pick up a Eldar SH tank, as I love the looks of those, but my army is nowhere near big enough to justify including one, and again, the price.

A knight or baneblade-chassis might find it’s way into my collection at some point, but at a low priority. They have the advantage of being plastic and readily available.
