Details on the previous page but the term you're looking for is Space Union, a line of a couple of cheap spacey toys.
I found them for sale in Egypt, India and Ukraine, but not in the US/Europe but if you find them let me know.
Under $20

I've been seriously thinking about buying a ton of Lego minifigs to play DnD with. Between 40K and real life, I don't have the time to paint for DnD anymore, and you can buy weapons etc so you can swap them out and make everyone's kit be accurate.
I'm loving these elves...

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase. |

This is a great kit. I now have a basis for a mag lev train for my 40k supply depot factory board and a stack of sci fi plate bits and a few small vehicles and doodads. This thing makes sounds too!

I'm continuing the project in my blog, but I want to add with some work relocating the control tower I was able to fit two APCs on the deck.

I still have the flat pieces/bits/turrets left

Next year's project (OK, among next year's projects) is my backwater spaceport idea so I'm always looking for aerospace craft to include.

I found this cheesy monstrosity in my local supermarket. Could be orkified, or serve as a source for scenery bits.
There is a version with (presumably) Flakvierling 38, and also Flak 18.

Yeah, the hippie peace symbol really makes it spicy, haha. It never fails to amaze me with what Chinese toy producers are able to come up with.
This thing looks a fed-up garbageman looted a military museum.
Now about the model itself:
The website claims the truck is 1/64 scale, which is believable, and somewhat possible, although the gun is horribly out of scale. I thought of using it for a small AA emplacement terrain piece. I don't have to scratch-build a gun or buy a necessarily detailed and fragile Tamylia kit.

I have what I think is that same or very similar truck cab on a different vehicle I painted up for my Mech Attach games. In my case it's darn near perfectly 1/50 or 1/56. Maybe too small to get a heroic fig in the cockpit, but looks fine on the tabletop. It's been a while but I think I lowered mine a little. I don't recall if I swapped the cab onto that tanker or it came that way but I think I got mine in one of those cheap vehicle bins at Menards.

I know the feeling! Darn Ali Express rabbit hole...
Snap fit ship models, maybe good for BFG and similar stuff.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32890509391.html
Turrets and other greebles are all separate.
A selection of drones, trucks and other stuff, more or less the right scale for 28mm
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32837084156.html
And another potentially useful truck, 8" long

Some possible civilian vehicles from that aforementioned Ali Baba Rabbit Hole... Older eastern European cars that I like since they look like cars, but aren't as jarring as putting well known real world cars down on the table. 1:36 scale, 13cm/5" long so a bit big https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2006307794.html ----------------------- Wow with the front grill headlights and side air intakes this looks like someone described a car once and a guy who was half listening tried to build it. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000917057458.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatra_603 Huh, rear engine, so those things by the tail fins actually are air intakes, then what's the intake on hood? -------------------------- 10"long bus https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33018807735.html ------------------------- Possible Taurox substitute? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32876192049.html -------------------------- Or if you want something more retro https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32984274187.html -------------------------- You say high tech camper, I say Tau troop truck. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001291066031.html ---------------------------- Ork buggy? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32805249396.html 1:28 scale so a bit large but doable. And in 1:32! https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32872195056.html ------------------------------------- Well. If nothing else it's time to rewrite my old Civilian Vehicles article...
