Unfortunately that color scheme doesn't match my army's but I just needed to say, that that is incredible!

Thanks man, I appreciate it! Some players dont care, others (like me) HAVE to have it match, I understand completely.

Nice paint job would def bid if ibhad already started a nid army(been contemplating the idea for a few months but I just keep buying more dark angels and orks). But in case I do end up bidding for it what paints did you use for the cataprace?

I believe the base is GW's 'screaming skull' with some mottling before several washes and build ups with varying shades of a mixed screaming skull and white. To be honest its not an exact process but thats a good starting point.

I hate to be "that guy" but i think you would get more unpainted as nid players are generally pretty Anal about color schemes =/

True or perhaps doing it in one of the common schemes from the background.

This is a really nicely painted model though and could easily fit into a vaguely similar scheme as a mutation etc.

You're absolutely right, however I'm trying to improve my work. So its nice to be able to get casts and practice on models that I enjoy painting, it's the only way to get better.

I for one could never allow this Dimachaeron to set foot on the same battlefield as my Tyranid army.

Hey thank you. More often than not, especially with Tyranids, I see players have either dipped their models or a huge chunk of them are unpainted. Sadly its a rare sight to see a fully color coordinated fleet, at least in my area.
