the very fact that you just grabbed the "501" and told us that it was coincidence is just a new way to make you so very much likeable!!! i for one love it when simple solutions still bring the same effect as a long hard thought and way too much meaning in all!!!

by the way... can i make a suggestion dave? i think you should do some billowing smoke for the walker...some cotton wool...hardened with PVA... with your ever growing AB skills i bet you could come up with some awsome effects!!

Yep, I see soo many threads where the artist seems like he spends more time talking/typing out their current hobby conundrum than it would have taken to just glue something together and try it. I needed numbers, I looked through my box-o-decals, and picked that sequence because...well..it's better than 728 or 541 I suppose

Love the rivet strips at the bottom that was a cool touch really impressed would show a picture but the misses has the camera at work today ……. Dam birthdays

for me the 501 looks good... the other numbers... well...no connction there... but the 501 will always remember me to a nice shaped female bum in a tight levis 501 that´s all the philosophy i am atm about to muster^^

nice book dave! on the WD, i think that the only real usefull thing in it is the empire paint stuff, not because i play empire, which i do, but because its painting cloth, which could be used for any army

I have a couple units of Empire painted myself...Last month's WD..That was soo full of Empire Goodness!- I haven't really looked at the new painting system too closely yet, I need some help with painting cloth.

the new painting system, is makes in unnaturaly easy to acomplish things that would take more time with doing in the old system, i personaly used the skin, and space wolf blue tutorials and they turned out farily well for me

Yeah..I just have to approximate their colors to what I have...I don't really want to buy 172 new paints!

i know what you mean, i only bought 5-6 new colors so far, but i know im going to need some of the nice metalics they have out

I didn't do gak tonight...I probably won't do much this whole weekend. We are going to Indianapolis this weekend to see Weird Al Yankovik!, I'll probably stop in the GW whle I'm there, I'd like to pick up the new Empire Army book, maybe some other plastic crack too

lol have fun with Al, and your crack.. unfortinatly for me I chose to pick of some FW IG bits instead of the empire book, but i'll be getting that soon enough

Dave, you have made some awesome stuff lately! I've only just caught up with the pics at home as my work computer blocks just about everything now! :-( I love the steam walker, something about it makes me smile! I also found a kit I bought, it's an abs plastic pack, it's got a heap of differing sizes of tube down to thin plastic rods (rivets anyone?) it also has a few L shaped edges I can use for capping terrain, only $16 bucks, hopefully it'll arrive monday then i can do some holo table work and get some opinions!

In the meantime, keep going dude I love seeing what spills forth from that creative mind of yours!

??? you need advice in scatchbuilding? mister wgo are you kiddin`? i mean....you need to write a book on your own...to be honest... look at the stuff you already did from scratch... small arms, vending machines, walkers of steampunk and the endless terrain you are chucking out... honestly...it´s like teching the pope to pray...er...on second thought... i think that is high time someone did just that!^^
