So I was just wondering dakka, who are you? I'll start, I'm a seventeen (turn 18 on Christmas eve) year old high school senior. I work at McDonalds. I have a lovely girlfriend. I love sharks and guns and am going to NAU for college. So what about you guys and gals?

I'm Will. Married (8 years) - no kids because I can't have them and the adoption agencies don't see me as a "good candidate" due to my views on religion (they are all run by church agencies) and 46. Been a gamer for about 30 years.

I am Andreas, 37, I have been in this hobby a while and what I know for sure is that I am the slowest painter in the world

Beside that, I build the best truck engines in the world (and for a whole lot of other applications). I compete in shooting and I spend all my other free time watching movies or going to the gym.

I'm 41, married with an 11 month old daughter, did 15 years in the RAF as an Airframe Fitter, worked offshore looking for oil on survey boats for a couple of years, now back on the tools in Saudi Arabia living the expat life, and have been for the last 5 years.

I've just turned 30, divorced but got a lovely girlfriend, I was in science research but went mad (partly due to reasons I divorced) and later decided it really wasn't really cracked up to what I thought it would be. I ended up working in a school as head science technician. Enjoyed that so much I decided to go into teaching so I'm now a trainee chemistry teacher who has just finished their first placement.

Morning all, I'm Drew. A 34 year old Senior Care Worker/Nurse (when they are short staffed). I've been into miniature gaming for around 24 years and according to my wife of 8 years, I have never grown up. Taking a Care Management degree at the moment so I wont have to spend my entire adult life cleaning up sick and various other noxious substances!

I specialize in Palliative Care and that has rewards all of itself, though it can be a little sad at Times.

No kids, but we do have an unhinged Yorkie called Kobe.

18 years here, finishing the high school this year, into warhammer 40k for about 2 years now.
I also love the rock and metal music, and going into rock clubs.... Broke up with GF after i got drunk in one of said clubs and kissed with some girl i met there (girlfriends friends knocked me off ) The stupidity was strong with that one, but life goes on, and at least i have learned something from that incident

I'm 41, a Plumbing Contractor, been gaming for 28 yrs. married for 10 to the most wonderful wife EVER!

I have an attic full of gaming things, including a gaming table, paint desk, assembly station with terrain lining the walls. Currently in the midst of a switch to Infinity/Firestorm Armada over GW stuff.

I also have about 200 gallons of saltwater tanks filled with an assortment of swimming and crawling things. A relaxing hobby that I have found a love for over gaming.

I teach high school science, after an aborted research career. Currently in an international school, really like my job. Moved here because of my girlfriend, really like her too.

Play a lot of D'n'D, but not much in the way of miniatures games any more. Starting to brew my own beer, thinking about writing adventures as a sideline.

22yrs old, male, American-New Zealander hybrid, forged in the labs of Carrollton, TX. (AKA Born in Texas, didn't live there long however, about 6 months) Lived most of my life in either MN or Brisbane Australia, moved around a lot. Currently in NZ, planning on staying, just finished a history degree.

I am going through the process of entering the NZ army as an officer, I've cleared medical and security checks, I've got my first assessment in Feb.
