what i´ve meant was the horizontal banding...BUT your way is far better... it loos totally awsome... and i don´t exagerate here... that is what it was meant to look like...very good work...
now off to do the engines!^^

First off, thanks again Cain, I always appreciate feedback......
Secondly, Can PVC pipe dust give you cancer? Cause I think I just enhaled about 6 inches of half inch diameter PVC pipe getting engine pieces cut up.......
Had to stop, got a headache and was covered head to foot in white dust....
Looked like a coke fiend.....
The drug, not the drink......
Pics follow.....
Have a little bit more to do on the basic internal structure then on to the exterior detail of the engines......
Happy so far and what I was afraid of (that I hadn't left myself enough room to put them on and add detail....) hasn't proven to be a problem yet.
Still hoping it won't........
I think it will turn out nice...

hm.... very eager to know what these half rings will be used for... engines but how i cannot say...hmmm...
and i don´t think the dust from sawed or sanded PVC pipes can cause cancer... i think it is still too big of the grain to be harmful...but i can understand that this must be a pretty yucky expierience for you^^

Plastic Fumes and Plastic Dust won't do your your lungs much good.
The fumes are particularly bad for you. For dust you should probably get a simple dust mask. If you're doing much work involving fumes I reccomend getting a decent half-mask with proper gas filters.

They are a section of soft polyurethane plastic taken from a flashlight cone.....
they were the perfect size and shape for the rear exhaust cones......
