Well only a small update...

But first thank you all so much for your comments, means a lot.

Anyways......guns, again they are not finished just yet, but this should give you an idea, I would appreciate your thoughts on these. Like/dislike.

And what I hope is a better shot of the flames.

As always critique very much appreciated.

And just in case anyone is interested, here are the pics for Gitsplitta's Painboy. I was highly honoured to be asked by such a great modeller to make him a piece.

Spoiler:

Of course Gitsplitta is welcome to alter the model, and it is open for critique now. Progress will proceed on this one on his amazing blog.

oh ...cool painboy! screams bloody meat cleaver to me^^...

as for your own (still with you^^) hot rod ...very cool looking...the flames on the fenders looks very classy, the cloth is looking animated, moving in the wind
engine is looking super, especially as the overheated look is nailed by you very good, and the freehand on the roof I have high hopes for...

I am only a bit surprised your orks use hazard stripes...hmmm....

ah... that is a very good choice for bitz to represent the KFF thinggummy... the runthereder sticks... yes...that is something that looks like it could project energy of any “kind and form a shield...the trailer will get some wheels tho?...we“re talking orks here so a wobbly attachment to a lorry wouldn“t be out of the question...tho for the sake of symmetry or somefin“ I would like to see some wheels^^

Thanks.

@ Vik, Yup it will get wheels and more to it. Glad you like so far.

@ Dr H, Thanks also, and I think you are right, need to add more bits to it.

The yellow Barrel like thing is, I am afraid, me cheating...it's a barrel! Bought it.

More later I hope.

Don't get too carried away, just a few little bits to tie the electro-tower things in the corners to the barrel in the middle.

No shame in using something bought. it's a good use for the bit. I was curious as what it was for my own inspiration.

Dat's some great stuff! Although the bit below the cab on the trukk could benefit from a body plate of some kind. Even random tacked panels would fill that gap. But Red there would really flesh it out methinks.

Not where I should be

Well gentlefolks, small update, RL being a bit busy at mo.

So finished the coupling for the trailer, so it can be a separate article and towed by other vehicles, and left on the battlefield as an objective or whatever.

So I also filled the gap for Dave, you were right as usual. And added some cabling to the KFFG trailer, so here it is hitched up, still got lots of work to do, got crew and a mek to model and paint, and got to decide whats happening up front. Any suggestions are most welcome. Think I will go with my usual Radiator, but then do I put a blade on it or ram or roller even? Just not sure.

Anyway pics...

Thanks for looking.

Looking good.

As it's obviously built for speed, with plenty of added lightness, I would go with blades. It doesn't look like it has the mass to use a ram or roller...

Nice work Cam.

You could add a wonky number plate to the back of the trailer (as is often seen on trailers). Only a thought, but would be amusing.

Also noticed a slip in your usually impeccable checks on Kev's axe.
Good work on his goggles.
