So I just finished my licensing exams! Hopefully a lot of painting in the month before I start my articling (like an apprenticeship for lawyers, at least here in Canada. I know you don't have those in the States, not sure about elsewhere).

Meanwhile, have some mossy rocks and stuff.

Bloodied up! Except I missed a bit of skin cloth over one arm so that hadn't dried yet, will blood it after. And also forgot to do some of the blindfolds. *sigh* soon.

Interesting colour choices Gwyn, very striking with the skin cloaks. I really like the patina on the weapons.

Do they wear the skin because they miss their corporeal bodies, or to mock and terrify their fleshy opponents?

At my roommate's request, I'm focusing the rest of the month on some board game minis before I move away. On that note, please meet Billy, the Sheriff's Son, from Last Night on Earth. He's pictured in his live-action photographs as a dirty blonde teen wearing a red t-shirt with some sort of white emblem on it, with a green-tinged dark coat over top. I think I pulled that off!

He's very cool, but I just love that chipped petrol can!

Thanks Graven! I had a lot of fun with that. Gotta say, mixing a little paint into some furniture antiquing medium is ace for easy greasy weathering.

I literally couldn't get the camera to focus on the next guy, just a zombie. But I took literally 50 photos if not more, and not a SINGLE one was her face in focus! Ah well.

I read something from a nature photographer. They had 50 rolls of shots of great white sharks, and two shots they liked. Persistance!

The little detailing on the T-Shirt looks great, good to see more of the board game minis getting paint.

Really nice work Gwyn! Certainly better photos than I find I pull off haha. Really like the zombie skin tone, looks manky!

Proof I'm still alive! 2 and a half months of articling haven't done me in yet! I haven't had time to paint until recently though, now that I've managed to find my working groove.

So now that I'm set up, next on the table is a re-do of my old Lychguard armed with shields and hyperphase swords!



Primed and ready to go, though one of them I seem to have lost the back-spine during the move. Will be fun doing these guys up with my new blended blade technique, which I intend to also bring across the main body of the shields as well!
