now i am having trouble posting in englisch just because of that little bit of german typing

LOL... fatty and anvil... after a while of chatting with you guys in english i go to bed with english thoughts... sometimes...when i have been overdoing dakka^^ (it is possible...yes it is^^) then i am sometimes at a loss of words at the kitchen table even... i recall trying to describe my family some things you fellas did or talked about and then some words just didn´t come to my mind in german...tstststs...

and now for something completely different...tho it did also partly consists of using swearwords...

todday i started to work on the sabre handguard...also i provide you now at first with the scaleshots of some of my works for some referrence to size to the "walker" knight...

and here are the pics of my first time use of miliput ever..., only the first basic shape tho... so more to come hopefully...

i say hopefully because something terrible happened... maybe you still remember the red christmas balls i used for the shoulder joints... well they came off for the mockups shots... and thus i am now forced to find a replacement... tho that gives me now plenty of time to make good work for the arms as such... and there is much to be done there...

Love the detail work on the sword, and with it mostly intact, the cross legged look is less noticeable ^^
But yeah, my favorite bit has to be the head still, it's just so badass ^^

hopefully i can make the arms work still... i need now to find a way to get the arms inside the sockets... and as i have discovered... the liquid nail stuff is good to get quickly stuff together... unfortunatly as it dries it gets brittle... so i think a good layer of GS all around is in dire need... darn...there goes my suply...^^

im liking what i am seeing here vik! now on that there knighty man, do you plan on adding a bit of cloth, or just keeping him bare armor?
btw the only reason why i am not adding to this odd german conversation, is be cause all i would say is stuff about cats, appels, and gak... so didnt think that was neccisary (:

hmm i dunno, until now i didnt want one, but i think maybie those banners like they have on the titans could look cool, plus it could help you tie it in to the =][_,= without putting a giant L on the chest

actually the giant =][_,= is something that intrigues me...and on the chest would look like supie or something^^

I always thought that the L on the chest could either be really good, or really bad.. altough with all the inquisition models out there, im sure you can find a succesfull way to pop in a =][_,= or two

yep it is a standing tall monster allright^^

Hmm... maybe if you cut it out of relatively thin plasticard you might be able to bend it over a shoulder or leg guard or something if you don't want to risk a chest icon...

I know several very good techniques for spheres and curved face icons and such with plasticard if you do.....


Also, the reason the christmas bulbs aren't working is because they have that red metallic paint on them still. Scrub it off with sandpaper or a file and try again. The paint they use on them isn't plastic and the color is in the paint so it blocks plastic glue. I have used them before.....


Also, I have used ping pong balls. But you have to use Cyano Acrylate (superGlue) on them..

As for the millitput work, damn sight better than I could have done. I must say, though, I think we both need work on that particular skill, Vik. S'okay, we teach each other waht we learn as we go......

yep...not playing atm...when or better if that remains to be seen... but i think it is still in the bounds of a knight... tho i think i could build it to look like a titan if i manage to make the torso look as if it would hold more crew...

Wow Vik! He look great! All he needs now is a main weapon, some rivets, and paint! Awesome Job!

Vik that is bigger than i had first thought, he is looking pretty dam fantastic the pose is great (the knocked knees are not noticeable ) and the sabre is a great idea and works so well.

I think some kind of shoulder,leg and shin armour would look great, the L idea would be kick ass so thats a must.

The pic of the group was a nice sight which makes me think you need to return to this project, great work keep it coming.

What is the thought on the right arm ? Fist or weapon ?

Really looking good cant wait to see more keep it coming.

if you look a bit earlier i showed a wristmounted cannon...the arms are atm trying to cure to later on get mounted or better re-mounted...

and LDD...you are totally right shin armor and arms armor all will happen... he looks way too weedy for my own opinion too...

Harold? Haven't encountered him... what's the situation? Who gave you the quest? Why does the person want him? And above all, what's with the semen?

well... harold is an old friend from the previous games... now he is fully transmuted into a ghoul tree being and stands in the "city" of oasis... thats in the northern middle...

well he himslef wants to be killed off...as he is rooted by a tree to that place...and the place is inhabited by loonies who think he (harold) is a god...well he is responsible for the sole natural green at all in the lands...

tho there is this leader at oasis... he wants the place hushed up and so the roots (where the heart is of harold, complicated stuff rather...) should be treated with something to stop harold spread his semen from going further than oasis...
and his wife...well she wants the semen to spread all over the lands... make everything grow and green...

now you are in the middle of a conundrum and you have to solve this...like always... bloody stupid american wastlanders^^

damn too slow (sorta) an alternative to Liquid nails may be a two part epoxy such as "J.B. Weld"

take his seed and spread it around. then kill harold and wait until the tree's have grown so you can burn them all down i am messed up i know
