That's exactly what happened to me. I've been browsing this thread and others like it (mxwllmdr, Klaus, not Santa, mayajid , Develain, etc) and been so inspired. I don't have a ton of time, so my stuff is pretty rough, but I'm trying.

MrMerlin wrote:Very nice looking dakkas, waz! How did you do the ammo-drums? Need to know it, gotta build some for my miniguns!

The first thing I did was to find some thing round to draw around to make a nice drum size, a compass would work fine. I used quite think plastic card too. Once I made one side I made the other the same way, I then cut 2 small squares glued them all together with the squares in the middle. You will need to file the side down a little to make sure it's all the same.

Next cut a thin strip of very thin plastic card (this stuff is as thin as paper) this will rap around the outta edge, once glued and dry, trim and file. Now you should have a drum size mag.

Adding it to your guns is up to you, in my one I added a square edge and built it up, it's hard to explaine so I will make a TUT at a later date to show you guys, it will be like the dakkadakka TUT, but anit aircraft dakkadakka.

Hope this helps till then

Just thought it would look better if you beefed them up, given the attention to detail everywhere else it just stands out as a bit odd. If you don't want to make rounds yourself, might I suggest giving Zinge a look? You're so close to perfection, why stop now?

How did you make that awesome g(h)ill(i)y/e suite ork?

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Orkz don't use ammunition... The block of iron with the wooden handle, and dangly thing near the handle LOOKS like a gun, and they believe it, so it works... doesn't have to have ammunition... Heck, doesn't have to have anywhere for ammunition to come out of the weapon, let alone put it in! In theory, they could pew-pew you to death with their finger-pistols...
Waaagh!!! Orky mind-bullets!

What I'm saying is, "Looks perfect to me. Exemplifies the Orky zaniness!"

You should really play.
Your opponent would walk up to the board see your builds and eather 1) pee himself/herself, 2) faint, or 3) run screaming from the room..

I vote option 1

Yes LDD. It is very wrong.

It pushes you to make them playable...
Not to mention lets others see it..

But. I don't really have a problem with people not playing considering I only have 10 Tau and a half finished tank...
