What size SoB force can a Commander pledge make? (assume vehicles come from GW)

The rumor for sisters is there is going to be a unit on the centurion sized bases. If that pans out, you could use the terminator models here for them. Or, hope sisters get terminators...

My sisters are rich, they will have Terminator armors

For the size of the army with a commander pleadge, I would say between 1500 to 2500 points, depending on what you pick.

We got 8 days...we might get them.
So far...this campaign hasn't been..awful. It will be interesting to see what the final 2 day spike is like this tie around.

I think at this point the campaign has lost its momentum and is stalling, so now we're getting the 5k stretches that unlock the extra bits and pieces for stuff already unlocked.

All campaigns Stall out though. Our many kickstarters have shown that. with maybe the exception of bones. I'm sure Buzzsaw has the graphs being our KS performance guru.

Well probably achive a stretch goal a day and then the last 2 burn through another 5.

Speaking of campaigns stalling out...the new deadzone one is really ....slow. Very different than their other campaigns. KS burnout finally?

My friend finally got his freebies from the TGG1 KS today. And with that news, I caved and pitched in for this KS. Hopefully, I won't have to wait two years like my friend....

Much bigger day 1 spike (even with what some see as negativity and some like me as delightful cynicism about the delivery of TTG1)

More backers than TTG1 in the same amount of time

More money than TTG1 in the same amount of time

although since this is a lot shorter it may still end up with less cash overall (it depends if the straggle backers who joined in the mid campaign lull will all jump in in the last day here, or if they will not realise the campaign is running until too late)

Have they officially released the TGG3 kickstarter sketches, in order to fund TGG2, yet?

No one is immune. Even the bones KS projects had people dropping and lowering pledges for elsewhere.

Thing is.. I don't see why people should add 180$ for the massive throne.. yet the ONE picture we've seen is nice, but that's A LOT of money for something no one has seen, no one really knows how big it actually will be like etc.

They need to show more WIP pictures of the big stuff.

Looks to me as big as some forgeworld titans, but far less expensive...

This is something people have no 20 year connection to from a new company that has NEVER done ANYTHING like it before.

It is the size of a titan going by the scale drawings. Not sure why it's so huge, but I really am tempted...

I personally think they'll go higher than the last campaign, but nowhere near the 1.4M that is estimated by Kicktraq. There's bound to be a few that pull out for fear of not seeing their goal unlocked, but they'll overall be lost in the last 48 hours rush.

I'm still on the fence, I'm still only compelled by the KotC and DotC. The rest looks good, but not enough to get me lusting after them.

Suffice it to say, I have 0 interest in the VOid Elves and Lust Elves. Even the few freebies I've seen, I'd rather add them on rather than buy in at the Lt level because I would get so much chaff.

Yeah, i pledged at Commander level, and i'm still second guessing whether i've plugged in enough to get what i want... Which i don't even know what that is. I mean i own a sisters force, so there are no "necessities" (if there ever are in miniature gaming), but i'm really looking at some of the "standard troops" as options for my army, Celestians or dedicated Dominions / Retributors.

The "Penitent Engines" look promising (i'd echo the feeling of *want to see 3D renders of the big stuff*, but then i was not disappointed by the TGG1 stuff... So i'm happy to wait)
Definitely getting some Davidians and Icariates, not yet sold on the Knigths of the chalice though.

Question is, how much of each?
But this shall be considered in 6-7 days anyway. My pledge will undoubtedly go up a bit before the end, i just don't know by how much and whether it'd make the difference people want.

Yeah, this has me guessing they'll unlock everything regardless if they meet the funding level or not, because the cumulative uproar from backers would be nuts if they teased stuff they never get around to releasing.

Basic Goal - with that money you fulfil "A,B,C".
If you get there, you can then stretch to "D" if you get the money. Or "E" if you get even more money.

Not "we'll do all this because we're planning to get 1 million anyway..." lol

It's only meant to be crowdfunding for a basic goal. Anything above that is up to the creator.

I just think their method is flawed... But i'm backing nonetheless. I can relate to anger/frustration about stretch goals though.

They give an impression of a massive amount of stretch goals, but by having it all planned they are hiding the fact that they do not have "real Stretch Goals" (New imaginative ideas because their crowdfunding reached a height they did NOT expect)

$100 from me to this KS, I'll be using some of the basic troops for Celestians for my SoB kill team.

For me it isn't so much that it is $180 but more I have no idea what I would use it for. I mean busts I understand, as displays but I can't really display this. It also doesn't translate into something I can use as a proxy for any game that I play. At least most miniatures have the ability to proxy and mingle with other existing games out there but something that is by itself and expensive... makes it harder for me to justify getting it.

Well, they shook things up with the stretch goals last time, switching to just unlocking things towards the end of the campaign to make sure everything was unlocked.

Given that it's dropped to roughly one main unlock a day, I would expect something similar to start happening soon. The other possibility is that they just don't unlock things and people start reducing their pledges because of that. I know I'm not the only one that's waiting on quite a few things to be unlocked.

Well the next unlock I care about doesn't unlock for another 32k. Time for a nap?
