I'm all into this. Not a fan of this interpretation of Batman as a Batman fan, but I'm a huge fan as an Adam West and general ridiculousness fan. I dont see it as a Batman show, its an Adam West flick with a Batman theme.

I may have to get this. Batman: The Movie is still my favorite Batman movie.
I find it odd that people are describing the level this Batman is designed to be enjoyed on as ironic or so bad it's good. It would be like saying the only way to enjoy that Airplaine! film is if you watched it as a comedy.

Exactly. And so is West's Batman, intentionally campy.
I just bought the full first season of West's Batman. I still love it. It's ridiculous, but awesome. It's FUN. I'll buy this on release as well. I like serious, dramatic Batman. I also like the fun, campy Batman. And it'll be a nice change from the dramatic. Something that Brave and the Bold did well, too. But this is the original team.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

DC Animated movies seem to be in touch with the fan base on a much deeper level than the live action ones, imagine if the newer films were half as good as under the red hood or dark knight returns, poor marvel would be worried.
