definatly the second draft... the first one looks a bit weird to me...tho if push comes to shove... your initial sketch looks the best so far!
and why do you are not able again to build and join the comp? seems i have again forgotten vital data...
and no... i wouldn never diss canada... i even toyed from time to time to move to canada in my youth... heck if my family was any better at a foreign language...tho french really was always so complicated with me^^

I had a dream last night... (No not dirty)
If I can mannage getting a (perminant) job down here next year and get a house. (Cause they're dirt cheap here - But reasale's a pain...) With a large freestanding garage (Most of them do) (Some the size of large barns) I think that I will make a giant -=L,=- logo to hang inside from the ceiling! Mwahahaha...
Then. Maybe invite all you good peeps up for a -=L,=- "convention".

Having recently trashed a board that had a permanent canal / rover through it, would advise against it as a permanent feature. It is really cool at first, then becomes increasingly more annoying with terrain placement as you try to mix up your layout. Also limits placement of objectives, needs bridges wide enough to handle a Land Raider / Battle Wagon...
