Well, while I think the skull on the falcon doesnt really feel Eldar, it does look pretty darn cool So do the nobs

@ TMT- yeah I cut the skull out placed it and traced with a Sakura micron then painted over it. The final turned out kinda pink from mixing white into blood red instead of using orange like the rest of the thing so I'll be re-highlighting the skull or maybe painting it white and shading with grays.

@bloodthirster- DKOK will be later. I have been busy with commissions and haven't even started him yet. Got 250 goblins to paint and a bunch of skorne stuff as my client loved the ones I just finished for him. But I will be working on it. It's a smaller model than the deamon so it will be harder with the camera there so I need a little bit of practice first. But as long as you're subscribed you will know when it's up

For tabletop standard, those Eldar look better than most I've seen at my local GW!

Thanks infilTRAITOR ! I have visited Portsmouth UK while in the Navy and didn't see a GW. I also didn't venture far from Gunwharf Quays as it was a cool place to walk around and shop.

GW is not far from Gunwharf. Just head towards the horrible hive of people amassing and you'll be getting close. Gunwharf must've seemed like pap compared to your Super-Malls in Americaland but it is quite cozy.

Just been admiring the Falcon. I'm impressed that you managed to stay true to the original plan. I never make plans like that because I know I can never stick to them

hehe it's actually one of my 2 fire prisms just without the gun and turret on. I figured I would practice as I think I'm eventually going to get a commission with someone presenting me with a photoshopped picture they want me to copy. So it's a test and it's turning out ok. Makes me want to do my whole army in that color lol.

All these eldar need to be stripped. Thats why you can see roughness on the paint surface. I got the eldar used so after the tournament they will get painted slowly and to my personal standard

I can't believe Im doing this - I dont like the falcon with the skull on it. The paint job - awesome. The abstracted skull and cross bones just screams 'skateboard/emo tattoo'.

lol skateboard Emo tatoo.. good point I'll scratch the skull idea... maybe I make a cool design instead. Tribal I think would look good.

Dude try and do some chinese dragons on your prisms..that would look awesome. Tribal tattoos are for dudes with fliped up hat brims and trucks with body lifts.

If you are interested, I have some tattoo stencils of dragons I think still at home.

Would make it a breeze with your hobby cutter and an airbrush to get them started.

I like dragons... and I am not a fan of the whole Jolly Roger design on an Eldar tank, it just looks... wrong

Good luck on the goblin horde, there nothing more discouraging than grinding a horde army of similar sculpts.

Yeah Metsuri, The gobo's are dipped. It cost the guy a fortune to have us paint all of these so he didn't want anything special. I'm pretty good at getting most of the dip off so I can get a "factory finish" with smooth transitions.

Got a little more done. Gold needs 1 more highlight and once the seals and banner are dry I'll get some scroll work in there. Then boltgun metal time.
