Thanks Meph. I prefer the Grey, I'm an old school player from the Rouge Trader days so no blue Space Wolves for me

Done some playing with the dreaded photo tent again tonight and these were the best of the results.

Let me know if they are an improvement, I think my photo tent is too big which may have caused issues before.

I can see a few bits on the WG that I need to touch up now

Some more WG for you today, numbers three and four.

Also some WIP shots of the ones in progress.

The guy on the left is going to be my Rune Priest and next to him is my version of Arjac Rockfist.

Anyone fancy picking a marine chapter for Arjac's victim? If not it will be another Blood Angel I expect.

I love Abbadon's babe's armour, it looks fantastic! The sword however falls flat (sorry to put it bluntly). It needs to really pop, especially in comparison to armour like that!

I've received my model that I'll be making into Logan today, looking forward to making him, If I have tome tomorrow I might see how far I get with building the next 10 Wolf Guard and bring you a WIP shot or two.

Painting is currently on schedule for these guys for July although its going to be a close one this time to get everything finished in time.

Thanks for the reply IG, the 8th terminator has a FW Death Guard body/head bit. I do like the eye rhino I think its my favourite as well.

Sorry to everyone for no updates in a while the next batch of wolf guard are 90% finished but I've not had the time to work on them I also have Logan up to the same stage as well. You might have to hold your breath a bit longer waiting to see them though as I have a tournament this weekend so no painting time.

It actually will be the Nurgle guys first game so it will be interesting to see how they do, yeah I'm the person who takes stuff to tournaments that I've never used before

Thanks Cutthroat there will be a few more Imperial Fists bits and bob scattered around the rest of the army, I find it good practice for trying out different ways of painting other chapters.

----------------------------

I'm back from my tournament now which was an excellent weekend, I didn't take any pictures as I just wanted to relax and not worry about anything after having a few stressful weeks at work.

A quick run down on the games it was a strategist tournament so things were a bit different to the norm.

Game one 750 points - vs Dark Eldar

I started off the day with a small Nurgle force daemon prince a few plague marine units and obliterators. I've never played Dark Eldar before so it was interesting. They took me out at close range in combat, just too many troops compared to me.

I cant remember the mission but I got tabled so it didn't matter, moment of the match for me was my plasma gun unit taking out a talos in the first turn.

Game two 1000 points - vs Imperial Guard

The mission was to capture the pyramid in the middle of the table by having a troop unit on it. I just camped my Plague Marines on it and they stayed there till the game ended resulting in a draw. It was quite a blood bath.

Best unit was the newly added terminator unit deep striking in and then wiping out a veteran squad of melta guys with their Heavy Flamer.

Game three 1250 points - vs Chaos Space Marines

Strange game this we ended up having a rhino face off my two plague units and a unit of berzerkers vs his two berzerker and a plague unit. in the end I got out my melta guys and was charged by his berzerkers taking them out. I then charged in my berzerkers who lost combat, he charged in his who lost combat and then kharn charged in and also lost combat and took a power fist in the face.

Best unit was my two obliterators standing off against his five, I won the show down with one stading at the end This game was objectives and he won by blocking my path with rhinos.

Game four 1500 - vs Black Templers

He had lots of terminators and we were playing the table long ways I got smashed by Cyclone Missile Launchers from the start and it didnt get any better, the objective was to get engineers to the power station in the middle of the table, starting with four each. In what was to be the last turn I had one Plague marine unit left with two engineers in the power station and a berzerker champion with power fist vs 80% of his army. He had two units with an engineer in each in the power station one marine squad and three men left from a term unit. I charged the term unit with my berzerker champion killing all three terminators which meant the engineer died and the game ended giving me the win

Game five 1750 - vs Chaos Space Marines (different army)

The objective was to capture the commissar in the middle of the table and get him back to your table edge, again we were playing long ways. His army was lots of berzerkes and Land Raiders. I managed to always be the charging unit with my berzerkers with the help of a slaanesh sorceress. Victory was mine I lost a plague marine unit and he lost everything bar a rhino.

Best point of the game was an obliterator taking out a Land Raider on turn one with his Las cannon, first shot of the game

Game six 2000 points - vs Chaos Space Marines (player from game three)

This game was annihilation and it was a blood bath, khorne was very happy even though it was mostly berzerker blood. It was close all the way through but he eventually pulled off the win winning more of the combats.

On a side note I also came away with the best painted army trophy Now lets see if I can get Skyrars Dark Wolves painted up ready for July for a chance at the trophy again. Really made my day
