I find it a shame you are going to use single clusters only I feel this will come back to haunt you at a later date, I only say this as if it hand been a preference choice fair enough but because of impatience

well i wouldn´t put it that harsh but in essence LDD is right... don´t rush it mate... you have lots of time... well you still have the option to start afresh and order the needed suplies now online... till you reach the point to actually use the lights on each of the then two e-hawks you are stocked up...

Gonna work on the upper wings tonight a little bit and I would say what I have planned but it seems that my plans always fall through, at least on the scheduling side of the house.....

I have started to become worried about the landing gear, but at least I still have the Main Gun to do to forestall having to do the landing Gear.......

I am concerned the landing gear won't be up to par with the rest of the bird.....

I found that it had to be completely detailed prior to being put on..... I think the upper wings should be done the same way.....

an Airbrush will help with that dramatically... also

Okay, little bit more to show but then I have to hit the proverbial hay.....

Took about an hour to design, scale and put the base for the upper wings together.....





Tomorrow I will finish edgeing and detailing them and have them on. I am hoping to also finish the main gun base at least.

My two youngest sons have birthday parties this weekend as their birthdays are the ninth and 14th.

My wifes birthday is the 18th. Is it any wonder I am broke from Christmas to Easter?

Sorry if this sounded harsh as it was not meant to only that mxwllmdr mentioned himself he preferred the clusters rather than the single, I meant it would be better to see if you could get the clusters even if it meant waiting to finishing the project to achieve the desired look, nothing worst looking back on something thinking I wish I had

I didn't think it was harsh.... I agreed with you but felt that the LEDs so deep in the jet exhaust cones weren't gonna be to damn bright anyway, so I went with what I could get. Not worried about it though because i think that Horst will be able to use color to his advantage when painting the interior of the cone so that the color is magnified without making it overly bright......

My wallet hurts from about Dec. 1 to some time in February...

My bday is on christmas, my mothers is the 17th of december and my oldest son is the 31st of December as well......

The births I had no control over, it was the other part I couldn't wait for.......

My birthday is december 7th, my mothers is december 8th, my sisters is december 21st.

Lunch hour was not very productive. Just got the outer layers of armour on the upper wings. HOPEFULLY tonight will see them installed and a Very large amount of detail completed..........

My mother once told me that the gift I was receiving was going to have to be Chrstmas and birthday that year cause money was tight. It was nice though so I didn't complain...

Many years later on Dec 17th 1991 (the day I graduated US Army MP School) I gave my mother a gift and told her the same thing.

She broke down into tears and told me she hated it that they had been forced by money to tell me that. But since dad knew what it was he told her to shut up and open it.

I had spent three months salary on a string of pearls for her. She was so happy and mad at the same time. it was whole hairy @$$......

She says they fly maneuvers over her house all the time from your neck of the woods, says she hears helicopters now. You gonna send MPs to shut me up?

I'm not.....
