I came across this by accident the other day, and the KS just went live.

Still looking through it myself, but for some not-40K Inquisitors, they seem pretty nice. And the Kickstarter will include stuff from Heresy Lab, and they appear to be a far-less-cheesecake-y version of Wargames Exclusive.

I like that Crusader, and the one with the hammer. They look good overall.

No Pity! No Remorse! No fear!

I got some of their stuff from their last Kickstarter - it’s really on the small side, maybe a ‘true’ 28mm?

I don’t think it scales well with ‘modern’ GW at all.

That's good to know. Thanks Alpha.

Very interesting models!

...but the scale issue is concerning.

158 is a peculiar one. Hadn't realized that the Lord of Plagues was such a popular model for Inquisitor retinues that there's a demand for pre-made conversions. Quite impressive.

Seconded.

I found them to be beautifully cast, but quite "petite" when you're used to modern, or even slightly older, 40K models.

Not a bad thing. Gives the players more choice.

I often wonder what the sculptors are capable of from their own designs/ imagination when they're not bouncing off Grimdark inspiration.

Maybe it's like highbrow actors taking a superhero movie gig. Take the money so that you can then indulge in something more artistically satisfying that doesn't pay.

I think Jon Malkovich has stated that's why he was in Con Air.

Good stuff, I really like the 2 floating chair dudes, I'm a sucker for a guy so powerful he doesn't need to get out of his seat. The tech priest would make a good... looking a hologram dude... for GS cults.

Also you can buy stuff from their back catalogue.

It's based on an old Necromunda special character (who never got a model), can't remember the name, basically Space Sparticus.

*clicks fingers* That's what he is! I kept wondering why the concept seemed familiar and kept thinking something from Inquisitor.

Which figures were small?

The stuff from their 2.0 campaign seemed to be quite large and venture into almost 32mm sized figures in some cases.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

The sculpts look nice, but they really need to 'up their game' with the poses. At the moment I only see a couple that I actually like enough to get at those prices, and I think they are based on artwork. If the posing was improved then a lot more of these would move onto my shopping list. The Heresy Lab miniatures seem to have similar problems, so I guess they share a sculptor.

Thank you! Necromunda books are still in a box somewhere!

Figures from the first two campaigns were mostly smaller. I’ve got a bunch of minis from 4? of their campaigns and the sizes are all over the place. Robocop and Vader are a head taller than some of the earlier minis. And they are all more or less truescale, so they won’t look good with GW minis no matter how tall they are.

I have seen it used in umpteen Inq28 retinues, maybe the same for you and thus the connection?

This is some good stuff. I think I need floating organist and perhaps well fed plasma priest. Plus the chance to get some older stuff along with it is motivating.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Smaller size is actually a plus - as long as the model itself is not super thin.

Indeed. Out of the minis shown so far, that's the one I'm most interested in... particularly perfect if these are on the small side compared to current GW. That should mean they'll fit right in with Oldcromunda.

They are not heroic in scale.

I agree on some of the first series were a bit on the smaller scale, actualy they look smaller as they are females thus thinner.
A quick search on google returned some examples.

And this one being on the knees and female looks tiny but is scaled correctly.

The new models beeing mostly males should fit even better.

I feel this deserves a little bump, considering that it is ending soon and these are perfect for the new Inquisition rules comming up in the next WD.
14 unlockes designs, two free figures so far and the opportunity to buy the whole Heresy Labs catalogue for very few bucks.

I'm afraif the Inquisition Ogryns will not be unlocked, but I am very satisfied with the rest.
