I suspect that the pandemic is likely affecting the scope of holiday shopping over this weekend but I suspect gamers around the world might have squirreled away a few gold pieces to spend on this big shopping weekend. So... what tabletop gaming goodies did you pick up either for yourself or as a gift for a fellow gamer?

I didn't splurge but did make a few small purchases. I picked up a few 3d models that I have been eyeballing for a while (a Black Templar Emperor's champion, an Ogre Conquistador, and some Japanese themed monster riding Samurai) as well as a few one dollar heroclix for quick repainting for RPG character models if/when local gaming returns in my area.

I got some WGA plastics from RDG and some stuff from TTCombat so I could get a couple of their exclusives.

I got a discounted Tau Commander kit, so the weekend is covered. I just love the sheer infinite posing and assembly options it offers.

I got some WGA not-Squats, third party cockpit canopy for necron fliers, Wargame Exclusive "totally not a Tech priest manipulus" (because I refuse to pay $35 for a 70 point character), and 4 Hitech Miniatures not-Kataphrons.

Mostly miniatures - a large (for me) order from Kromlech including their resin knight armor kit, some from Anvil and Wargames Exclusive.

I'm hoping between the bodies from Kromlech, arms from Anvil and some plastic bits I'll be able to put together a primaris scale Mk III armor equivalent.

My non-miniature haul included a new coat, some Displates (metal art posters) and a big package of household goods from Public Goods.

Before the weekend is up I'm hoping to find a new blu-ray player for my pc.

Seeing as warlord games had some offers on, the wife picked me up some Yule presents. So have a panzer 4, is-2, T34, Marder 3, Churchill, stug 3, soviet scouts, winter soviet mortar team and winter soviet maxim team.
There’s more gaming and model supplies but they weren’t in any sales.
Using warlords offers grabbed me 2 of the tanks and one blister for free. So that equals about 46 quids worth of free minis. Good times.

Picked up an Asterian Faction Starter Set with 80% discount. Too tempting at that price and after a few years on the fence, I'm finally going full into Deadzone!

I'll give you a hint, it likely looks pretty familiar It's been something I've wanted to print myself, but I'm still on the fence about what 3d printer to buy. I REALLY want a resin printer for custom 40k stuff (and I can finally put my college degree to work again), but on the other hand I'd also like an extruder style one that can handle printing Nylon X so I can make chassis for my combat robots (mini battlebot competitions). I can only buy one without the wife killing me.

Simple solution.

Buy one, then 3D print yourself a spare bod, then buy the other one. Just make sure your wife kills the spare bod.

A store around here called http://www.e-minis.net usually has some hidden gems for Black Friday. The Asterians set was one of those and so all copies sold out really fast

I just kind of wish there was a type of resin that could be used on a resin style printer that could handle massive amounts of Kenetic energy before breaking, then I'd just buy a resin printer. When it comes to mini battlebots, there's nothing small about the energy they unload into each other. One-pound bots can easily throw punches with several hundreds of foot-pounds of energy.

Picked up the Thresher Hive ship exclusive for Dropfleet Commander since its a 2019 exclusive and will vanish hereafter (or at least might only reappear at christmas and then vanish forever). Held off on the scourge tower since that's a 2021 special so I've got all next year (which means probably panic buying it at this time next year )

The Thresher is a neat ship, and it’s background is hilarious. I hope they develop that faction farther.

I was able to finish off buying my custodes, and continue my solid Slaanesh start with a 35% off discount.

Got the following for a black Friday deal:

2x KoS
1x Epitome

3x Allarus
2x Vertus Praetors
1x Custodian Guard

Pretty happy to get that at such a huge discount, and should keep me going with my other backlog through the next year.

I also got myself an Ipad at a discount, but not really going to use that for gaming.
