Nice model in general.
Good for any marine army, particularly a UM successor as no work would be needed.
But even other chapters could use with a bit of work..
Looks ok, I expected the model coming since I read the short story about him being pimarisized (is that a correct word?). His rival Honsou would be great to see as well.
Good thing he gets a model, was starting to get worried about the lack of UM special characters and Primaris in general
Snark aside, his model is rather good, you can tell he is someone special without him looking over the top and barely able to move. Though seeing how this is a BL-related release, I honestly would have preferred Commissar Gaunt or even Cain.

But as I’ve currently got more Ultramarine captains then there are companies to lead, I’m in no rush to run out and grab him. The basic primaris captain has the same wargear, so it’s not like he’s bringing anything new to the table from that front. And I play 3rd company, not 4th, so not real lore drive to get the right guy into my collection.
If they bundle him in some sort of UM combat patrol I’m picking up, I’ll gladly paint him and add him to the force, but otherwise a pass from me.
Thats a lot of little things off about him. Square feet, the waist seems kind of thin, the green trim of the shoulder pads is definitely too thin, and look at the elbow joint of the sword hand. If the black part is where the elbow is meant to bend, I'm not sure he'd be holding the sword that way
Yeah, it's a fairly major plot point for the one where they fight Tyranids - think it's the next one after nightbringer. That's then the catalyst for a load of other stuff that happens to him. They're decent books to be honest
Oooh man. I mean, that certainly is... something. That hair. That elbow joint. The choice to go for 4th company "Our Presence remakes fashion's past". The firstborn-sized cape The SQUARE SHOES????
Damn.
He must've been designed during the quarantine or something.
The knee pad above the "I" looks like it's part of the leg armor and not a separate joint. Nothing a hobby knife can't fix, but the model reminds me of that terrible FW Ultramarine standard bearer that they released in FLGS and never sold out of.

Based on the WHC images, it looks like they went for a military haircut and missed. Though I've seen elsewhere that it might have been an attempt at a monk's haircut, either way it looks better in the art than the model.
