Hello geeks & gamers,

Rumour mill says that there is a new faction for 40K on the horizon. Reason for this is said to be the all-encompassing stunted growth of the world's economy. So the suits at Nottingham hatched a plan to introduce a faction which would be available for just a small amount of money.

They aim for those models to become so popular that they will experience the most short-lived shelf life when compared to other products. As a result of this it will expected for the hobbyist to paint them with very little effort. One fact which will make painting fun is the amount of minuscule muscles sculpted on the figurines. This means even people with short attention spans would then be able to finish them without a fuss.

All in all this is great news as even members of the community with lower income will have access to awesome new stuff.

Eh. Too much snarky commentary, not enough on the faction/models.

Would have aimed at revamp of something classic but largely forgotten, like Slann, and built it up as a release like GSC, Harlies or Ad Mech.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Given the timing of the announcement, I think it's a composite faciton made from Slann, Squats, an entirely-new, ultra-cool race and it'll introduced both via normal 40k as well as being a pack-in force for a new version of Epic.

Is this supposed to be real or an April fools thing ? As the thought of GW giving two gaks about peoples finances just doesn't sound at all like them.

I'm going to assume this is a joke post. You scamp you.

Edit: To be clear I'm saying GW putting out cheap things is much akin to superman loving on some kryptonite.

I mean, GW could make another two space marine supplements if Cawl brings back the two forgotten legions.

Plus all the nonsensical space marine units that they’ll have traditionally had 11k+ Years prior

No, it's totally true!

The army will consist solely of $300 models that are created via the new and exciting FineCreation(tm) methodology, wherein a Games Workshop(tm) brand Tynaess Bawl(tm) is slathered in superglue and rolled through a bin of clipped-off Space Marine bits.

If you're gonna use that many short jokes, you might as well just come out and say, "Squats".

Good sir, you were apparently too smart for GW's new advertisement campaign.

I mean, it was obviously an April Fools joke from the title so already losing points there but wow, that was nonsensical. 2/10 is right.

I was chatting with the local store manager and he said it was going to be an army of single piece mono-pose dinosaur warriors pre-painted in three colors. To save on packaging they will be sold in cellophane bags.

That is how it didn't catch anyone off guard, saying GW care about the poor is like saying fish love the desert. It couldn't be farther from the truth and I'd say there are few they revile more than those who don't have the buff wallets to handle their perpetual milking.

Edit: Let me also say april fools is one of the worst days ever imagined. The one time of the year everyone tries to be a a joker. A good idea would be to practice all year round if you want to knock it out of the part on April 1st folks. Practice makes perfect.

Also, I saw some plastic thunderhawks fly by earlier today, was very amazing so they should be up for order any day now.
