This was a cult classic for me back when I was in high school and watched this show, and seeing its corpse dug up and paraded out as one of many things to keep churning out content during the streaming wars hurts me to my soul. Stop bringing back old shows!

The fact that Gandhi is seemingly gone and replaced with new characters really sucks and it's very clear which characters are new and which were added in by the new writers.

If this trailer is supposed to highlight their "A-game" for their jokes, it's falling pretty flat for me and coming off as cringey rather than funny for me. Between this and the supposed King of the Hill revival I want there to be some sort of moratorium on reviving dead shows.

That this is considered an "old" IP really hurts.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I mean it's 21 years old. Definitely not as old as a lot of the other IP's but it's certainly not recent by any stretch of the imagination.

I didn't say it was new I said it hurt.

Ahhhhh, gotcha. My bad, I think I misread the part you were emphasizing. Yeah, I feel you, it's crazy how much time has gone by for things that felt like they weren't that far back when I first watched it.

Just makes me think of this Simpsons clip every time:

Never heard of it.

Chances of this being a rights maintaining reboot?

Possible. Though I feel like it's the usual creative bankruptcy leading them to dig up random stuff in their IP vaults for more content. So it's probably a bonus rather than the main goal since it is the era of nostalgia bait.

Hm. Had thought the new Clone High was supposed to be a continuation, not a reboot.

It looks like a continuation. They get frozen in the last episode. They get unfrozen 20 years later. Mix up the main cast a little bit by adding in Frieda Carlo.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I look forward to an edgy, hard-R adaptation of Small Wonder.

I'm down for it. Especially if it is a crossover with Punky Berewster. Punky and friends living in an post apocalyptic world overrun by Vicki's just trying to survive. An 80's version of post apocalypse, of course, like in Escape from New York or 1990: The Bronx Warriors.

They could even homage classic episodes, with Punky raiding a bra store or hiding in a refrigerator. For an Easter egg, one of the Vickys can crush a glomer with disdain.

Ghandi can try newer actual energy drinks instead of drinking blue pancake batter.

That's if Gandhi even ends up being in this show, given the controversy they dealt with last time, and today's overly sensitive political climate, I assume they have some of these newer characters precisely to try and avoid getting cancelled. Gandhi's gone the way of Apu most likely.

I must have missed something. Gandhi appeared on Punky Brewster? How could I forget something like that?
