I remember in one episode of Supergirl there was a dude that could absorb radioactivity and turn it into superstrength yaddayadda. The important part was that the process was harmless for himself, but left the absorbed object completely intact, just devoid of radioactivity. I think lots of Nuclear power companies and countries would pay incredibly good for a dude that could just spend a week in their nuclear waste stash and turn it into harmless barrels of not-radioactive junk. You could make millions, if not billions just by "eating"

I miss when Wolverine's healing factor was just.... healing fast. The adamantium skeleton was hugely important because broken bones and the like could heal wrong very quickly and generally speaking it kept him together so he could heal. When entire limbs, torsos or heads regrow it tends to get rather silly.
All travel powers are generally super convenient. Particularly any sort of long distance TP.
Cypher's language power would be incredible.

If morality isn't a concern, having the Purple Man's ability or any other form of mind control is kinda broken, you basically to live life on easy mode if you really want to since you can get people to do what you want, and even on a less villainous perspective, it's something that can be useful to help prevent suicides, hostage negotiations or other crises where people panicking can cause problems. On a personal level, having the superpower equivalent of being able to "save" IRL like in a game where I have different save points in life I can "load"would be fun just to try different things when you're in a fork in the road and even letting you relive certain moments in the past.

Really? Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Batman can be argued as the most compelling interpretation of the character for several reasons. At the forefront is his nuanced embodiment of Bruce Wayne’s duality: the billionaire playboy and the dark, introspective vigilante. Affleck’s Batman exudes the burden of responsibility that comes with the mantle—a burden characterized by physical intensity, moral ambiguity, and a profound personal cost. His performance managed to capture the essence of a man driven by personal tragedy, making the character’s struggle both relatable and deeply moving.
One significant aspect of Affleck’s performance lies in the authenticity he brought to the physicality of the role. His portrayal was not merely a show of strength but an expression of relentless determination and discipline. The physical demands of Batman’s training and combat were realized in a manner that resonated with the audience’s expectations of a superhero who has honed his body into a formidable weapon against crime. This dedication provided a tangible link between the character’s personal history and his relentless quest for justice.
In addition to physical presence, Affleck skillfully communicated the internal conflict that defines Batman’s character. Unlike portrayals that emphasize a singular facet of Bruce Wayne’s persona, his performance acknowledged the inescapable reality of loss, guilt, and the burden of legacy. This introspective dimension was rendered with a subtlety that opened up interpretative layers for the audience, inviting them to consider the psychological toll of upholding a dual identity. The dichotomy between his suave billionaire persona and his nocturnal vigilantism was portrayed with a depth that underscored the inherent tragedy embedded within the myth of the Batman.
Furthermore, the cinematic context in which Affleck operated allowed him to explore themes of redemption and sacrifice on a grand scale. His Batman was part of a broader narrative that tackled issues of corruption, societal decay, and the moral ambiguities in modern urban life. This more mature framework, embracing complexity rather than simplistic dualistic good-versus-evil narratives, appealed to an audience seeking stories with moral depth and philosophical inquiry. In this light, Affleck’s Batman was not merely a superhero but also an allegorical figure representing the struggle to reconcile personal demons with the heroic ideals imposed by society.
Finally, Affleck’s contribution to the Batman mythos extends beyond his acting. His involvement in the broader creative process—where he provided input on the tone and direction of the character’s cinematic arc—demonstrates a measured commitment to ensuring that the portrayal was both respectful of the character’s legacy and relevant to contemporary audiences. This dual insight as both actor and creative collaborator has left an indelible mark on the cultural interpretation of Batman, aligning the character with complex modern narratives while maintaining the core attributes that have defined him for decades.
In summary, Ben Affleck’s Batman stands out as a profound synthesis of physical prowess, psychological depth, and narrative integrity. His performance elevated the character from a traditional comic book icon to a symbol of personal sacrifice, moral ambiguity, and the relentless pursuit of justice—the hallmarks of a truly transformative approach to the legendary Batman.

Thank you. I've thought this as well because I don't think I've ever seen this applied.
The upper limit of human strength is limited by recovery. Steroids help build muscle on their own, but they're also extremely useful for speeding up recovery.
Someone like Wolverine should have a strength level well beyond peak human and in this case, peak human really means PED enhanced human.
He could fit multiple weeks, if not months, of strength training into a single day.

Last I checked, Wolverine does have what's described as "limited super-strength", but at least some of that is taken up by being able to move despite his skeleton being infused with adamantium...
As for what would I want? Either, as has been mentioned previously, something like Purple Man's mind control (which would be handy for dealing with the mess known as "politics"), or alternatively telekinesis with reasonably fine control. Preferably the Superboy variant of "tactile" telekinesis, where you can also use it to fly.

Tacticle Telekinesis isn't all that useful since you can only move things by touching them, which is something most of us can already do. It's just super strength with extra steps.

Oh you build that in to your Government contracts. Immunity to prosecution to a greater or more limited extent.
The advantages of “hey, want a reliable and guaranteed harvest each year, every year” has to be worth “and you’ll take the heat where your specified weather impacts social events and that”.
Ethical side is that I’d refuse any contract to screw up anyone else’s weather. So no paying me to cause intentional and sustained famine or drought etc.

I don't read comics, but I looked into Wolverine's strength levels and he varies up to the 2-ton range apparently as a byproduct of moving with the extra weight. Nothing about it makes sense IRL.

Not quite what I meant, although I’m sure she’d address that by quoting conspiracy literature about satanic egregors. I meant more that you’d have to get used to being called a stealth—those people they think control the weather.

Quick sidestep here: I'd like to debate two similar, yet slightly different abilities. Teleportation vs Portal creation. Which is inherently better? I kind of like portal creation, as you can see what is happening before making a blind leap. However, it's not quite as instantaneous. Also it seems better for moving mass quantities of stuff.

Portal creation for sure. You would make a killing for transportation of goods in the world's supply chain and it's a huge game changer when it comes to logistics for a country not just in trade but also for military build up/bases since your ability to effectively mobilize troops is basically 90% of the force projection for a country. Depending on how far your portals could go, it could also revolutionize research into space since you could theoretically have people go through portals to enter different planets.
It also makes you a huge potential terror/criminal threat if anyone got a hold of you since if you could theoretically create portals anywhere that includes in the White House or into other countries for bombs or human trafficking, so if people find out what you can do, expect to be arrested almost ASAP if they somehow get their hands on you.
