About the FInecast, I've had finecast go limpy after a bath in alcohol, so alcohol is not safe either.
If I ever manage to fix them, or if they just fix themselves, I'll post an update.

Congrats on the lack of backlog Hotsauceman - I'm always working on reducing mine (and it's pretty successful). I have far fewer then I normally do.
I've been trying my best to stick to "assemble it only when you'll paint it" and have been successful lately.

Working on my FW Avenger Strike Fighter.
So the forward canopy of my Avenger Strike Fighter needs to be widened, but this is the FW semi-clear resin...how warm/hot should the water be to bend the resin?

Should do more work on this, but I have the rest of the miniature set to paint. This miniature is from the Savage Worlds Sixth Gun RPG game miniatures set. Tutorial posted for new painters. Will post as I paint the mini's.

I'm working on straightening out the guns on my heavy destroyers and just generally cleaning/washing resin. I really dislike the material so I can't wait to finish this stage. I've tried both warm water and a hair dryer and both have been mediocre at straightening the gun. Maybe I need to use hotter water but I am trying to increase the temperature gradually since I am inexperienced at working with the material.

If you're working with finecast, just make the water as hot as you can stand it, leave the mini or part long enough for it all to reach temperature, bend in the proper shape, then temper using cold water.
If you're using regular resin, i.e. not soft like finecast, use a heatgun it works wonders.

Oh I forgot to mention, barring a few basing projects, I have no backlog
I dont count basing as part of the miniature because I tend to do it in massive heaps and in between projects
This means I can, if I stay ontop of things,
Buy a unit, then PAINT IT, then buy another unit, then PAINT IT and so forth and so forth

Well, it works...only just. There is a lot of cutting/modification involved, but nothing terribly hard so far. The Rhino chassis has to be trimmed down - the side body panels need to be invented and the Leman Russ track sections have to be carefully trimmed on the inside, etc. I'll try to do a how-to when I construct my third one, now that I know it works.
I am considering a vindicator in the future, but it wouldn't be any time soon.

Painting. Have a 30K Narrative event in Nashville next weekend, and I need to get my Ironwing prepped. So I have 2 Predators, a Vindicator, a Contemptor, and a Fellblade to finish by Friday night.
Gonna be an interesting week.
