So? Is clicking a link too much work? Next time, I won't bother posting it at all if people don't like the fact that I posted a link instead of a pic.

I like the DCCW, it looks beefy. The rest is firmly Meh. AOBR dreads with a little extra bulk will be just fine.

Hmmmmm, I gotta say, I am not overly impressed with the model...in fact , I think some of the site regulars conversions are far better. Some of this may be because of the angle the picture has been taken at...the one in the Games Day pic looks a little better. To my mind the model does not look 'armoured' enough for the role it is meant to play and as others have already said, the auxiliary weapon placements on the arms don't really work...better to have them underslung on the bottom of the sarcophagus same as a MKIV Dread.
I had envisioned the seismic hammer to be a piston driven item as well...I have fond memories of a really tacky 80's film called 'Robot Jox' where the Russians and Americans were slugging it out in huge bipedal war machines...the Russian bot has a piston driven fist and it knocks the heck outta the American one...really cool scene...ahem, I digress!
The CC arm is too oversized for my liking, they would have been better going with the Furioso design. All the other options are just that I guess...options. GW, in the pursuit of stream-lining their business are to release ALL kits with ALL options I believe, starting with the IG Sentinals, so I guess the kit will come with a full option spread.
I may buy this kit purely for the optional bitz but, like many others will probably convert an AOBR dready or take a FW model...the standard MKIV looks almost made for the role IMO.

I think the size of the hammer and dccw is putting people off. It has the extra armor up front, but it needs some more. It's armor 13 on the sides so it should be beefier on the sides.

Of cource having a right arm ccw now means that furioso type dreds can be fielded by those less proficient at converting and without needing to buy from FW for those that have difficulty buying from overseas.
It also gives if nothing else, another sacophagus variation for a normal dred. This just has heaps of conversion possibilities.

All it takes to make a dred chaos is to paint chaos symbols on it. If chaos players want more then most should have access to the chaos vehicle accessory sprue which gives them spikes etc.

I love the arms especially the extra big fist arm, but I'm still undecided about the 'Tau-esque' armour plate design. The melta doesn't look too bad, just perhaps shorten the space between it and the fist, or mount it elsewere as has already been mentioned. On the whole I really like this model although the hunter killer missiles look awful, they definately wont be being put on my Ironclad.
