From what I understand, the scammer covered ALL freight and shipping charges. So no, it didn't cost him a penny. And even so, I'd pay 80 bucks if it meant a scammer lost $550 +

If you want to read the post about it over at zug.com, it's there and it's almost as funny as the one where people pretended to be Michael Jackson, complete with a legit credit card.

So yes, it did cost him something - out of his donations.

As of this date 6/26/09 all trades have been either resloved or are in the final stages of being resolved. By this I mean they have already received their items or payments were sent this week. As for your nasty and harrassing threats....I have saved all your messages. This includes all threats and derogatory things you have said. Please watch what you say about me and what you will do. I have complied with all deals I have made and if it took longer for some people to get some of the stuff then I guess that is unfortunate. As for some trades that people claim that they have not gotten what they agreed on, you should consider the jump on board angle. Some of these deals that were either on rogue market or Dakka Dakka where people claim they sent this or that and were supposed to get this or that are unsubstanciated. I made some deals with people and never got a thing in return from them. Its popular to jump on board whe someone is down. So what I'm trying to say is calm down and lets see the receipts from these people that say I have gotten stuff from them. Because I keep everything including my delivery confirmation and money order receipts. If you are still unsatisfied and have questions, feel free to contact me at this email. I check it 1 or 2 times a week and will no longer be checking rogue or dakka for messages. I don't like the way you handled things...IE posting personal info on your site. This allows other people to jump on board when they have no deal with me and claim things that arent true.

But their super willingness to cooperate - after we caught them - already proves it.

These guys are seriously digging themselves a hole as tampering with mail is not a light matter. I work for UPS and a guy was tampering people's packages and he ate a fine of 250,000$ plus 10 months in jail PLUS community service of some obscure amount. Tampering with the post office is 10 times more serious as it is considered a federal offense against the government and could land these buckos in boat loads of jail time amongst other things. This is assuming you get enough people to make a big enough issue with it with the gov. which seems like a good next step since so many of you are effected.

I totally agree with you KingKondo. This group is rotten to the core and continues to deny any wrong doing. I think that affected members should all contact the USPS and put them on the case. I believe this is the only way we will see any results.

The police can take action if the victims call. They can't do much if an unaffected third party is calling to complain about something they weren't actually physical witnesses to.
