"Straight Fething Silver" Tanith first and only

I have a reputation, Modile, a reputation as a fair, honest man who treats his soldiers well and supports them in the face of darkness. Potentially, that reputation makes me soft. It seems I understand failure and forgive it. Some, like Kowle, believe me to be a weak commissar, not prepared to take the action my rank demands. Not prepared to enforce field discipline where I see it failing. I am an Imperial commissar. I will enflame the weak, support the wavering, guide the lost. I will be all things to all men who need me. But I will also punish without hesitation the weak, the incompetent, and the treasonous.
I am a Commissar. I am empowered to deliver justice wherever I see it lacking. I am empowered to punish cowardice. I am granted the gift of total authority to judge, in the name of the Emperor, on the field of combat.
— Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt, prior to the field execution of his uncle General Aldo Dercius

i will see how all these go before moving onto HQ choices.

I did see a conversion someone did of a feamle inquistor as a commisar was quite good, but can't find the link

I get the GF to regularly check my sculpts to make sure they aren't too.....manga esque..i.e way too cartoony curves and sizes so to speak. The old phoenixwargamers club minis used to get a lot of stick for being too cartoony

If you mean that Doctor Thunder used to catch hell for making female models with breasts the size of basketballs (ratio wise, that is), and for making female models almost exclusively, and for daring to make female space marines, then "yes" the club got "a lot of stick".

Frankly, I don't think ole Doc was doing anything that wrong for a hobby wrapped around pure fiction.

Most 40k players are insecure manchildren when it comes to wardollies game, go figure they went into a nerdrage against Doc Thunder for what he shared with the community.

Doctor Thunder was creepy. Though, I personally raged against him mostly because he was commissioning lots of work but not giving credit to the artists most of the time. That and how he kept calling people that didn't agree with female marines homosexuals (lol). Still, what he did to Female Marines did make its mark in the form of hours of entertainment and drama, which is worth it's weight in gold. So for that I salute him.

Anyways, back on topic; can we see close ups at some point? Kinda hard to judge the paint jobs from those pictures.

what?!

no heavy stubber in the leman russ kit :(
very dissapointed, its just like the demolisher kit

although, having almost every weapon type for main guns in there is nice..once you figure out how to get them interchangeabl
